she pushed on
she had gone from hating his guts
to kinda sorta really liking him
he had a girlfriend
who she was pretty sure
wanted nothing to do with him
she was stealthy
and still friends with her "bestie"
so she managed to get the girlfriends number
(probably faster than he did)
and so she conversated
learning more about this girl
he had been in love with her
since 6th grade
oh shit she was hot
if there were red flags
neither him or her could see it
probably cus she was hot
soon, at a school dance
he and his girlfriend
didnt interact at all
instead he was by her side
the entire fucking time
and stole her fucking shoes
and her being naive
she thought she had won
she thought they were friends now
and maybe they were
but she now highly doubts it
all it was
was her
being in the right place
at the right time
a distraction, not a friend
but maybe
she was getting there
