Leo's Point
"So here's the plan. Leo, you'll be in the wheelbarrow with the cloak on and Frank, you'll push it while hidden so that it looks like Leo is floating. when I tell you you're going to set the wheelbarrow down and carefully walk away." Will said
"That way his not next to me when I light myself on fire" I said
"I like that part of the plan" Frank said
"Remember what I told you to say?" Will asked
"Yes" I said
"Let's go then" Will said.
By the time we had everything together and made our way to the palace it was dark outside.
I stood in the middle of the wheelbarrow completely still with my head done until we had made it about halfway to the palace
"Everyone stay in position!" A person who looked like The head guard yelled
"I am here with my men! And we have come for your souls!" I yelled as I slowly lifted my head.
"Is it time?" Frank whispered from behind me.
Frank not only had to push me but he had to also carry Will so I wasn't surprised by the strain in his voice
"Who-who are you?!" The head guard asked
"I am the dread pirate Roberts! I leave no survivors!"
"Now?" Frank asked in a whisper
"Set him down" Will said.
As Frank set me down I listened to make sure they were far enough away before I lit myself on fire.
"You shall all parish!" I yelled
"Where are you going?! Stand your guard! STAND YOUR GROUND!" the head guard yelled as everyone ran
"Well, that was fun" I said as I took what remained of the cloak off and walked towards the head guard as Frank and Will joined me.
As we walked the head guard pulled a lever and the gate began to close but Frank turned into an African elephant and pushed it back up then turned back into himself
"Hand over the key" Will said as we walked up to the head guard
"I can't, I don't have one" The Head Guard said
"That's fine" I said before looking at Frank.
"Could you turn into another animal to-" I started to say but The Head Guard cut me off.
"Oh key! I thought you said tea" The Head Guard said with a nervous laugh before he handed over the key.
"Now hand over your sword" Will said
"Of course" The Head Guard said now looking terrified as he held out his sword
Will took the sword but he couldn't lift it so it just dragged as we walked past The Head Guard into the palace.
After walking through the palace halls for only a few minutes I heard the sound of several people running and we stopped weapons ready for who ever came around the corner.
Not long after we stopped five man came into view, one of which had a scar going down his right eye.
"Kill all but the short one, we'll leave him alive to question" Luke said and his men charged us.
They tried attack Frank and Will but I didn't give them the chance to get past me as I took them down one after the other as I screamed with rage and anger and once the last one was down I looked up at Luke.
"Hello. My name is Leo Valdez.
You killed my mother. Prepare to
die.
Luke moved into an attack stance but then turned and ran.
"Oh no you don't!" I yelled as I ran after him.
I chased him until he went into a room and slammed the door in my face. I tried opening it but it was locked so I desperately threw myself at it hoping to break it down but I wasn't strong enough.
"Frank!" I yelled loudly
"What!?" Frank yelled back after a moment
"I need help! I can't get back this door!" I yelled still trying to force it open myself
"What about Will!?" Frank asked
"Frank, please! I can't lose him!" I yelled and after a moment Frank came running down the hall and I moved out of the way when he charged into a bear halfway down.
Frank slammed into the door knocking it inwards before he charged back to himself.
"Thanks" I said before I ran into the room.
At first I didn't know where he had gone but then I heard footsteps down another hall and ran until I saw Luke up ahead.
I followed him down a few halls and a set of stairs until he ran into another door shutting it behind him.
"Mierda!" I yelled as I ran at the door and of course it was locked just like the last one
I was so angry that I couldn't control myself and I burst into flames which reminded me that the door was made of wood.
I held my hands out and yelled as I sent a wall of fire at the door braking it down.
I walked into a dining room set for a large dinner I guessed it was probably for the wedding dinner but I didn't have much time to think about anything else.
As soon as I walked in Luke grabbed a knife that was on the table and threw right into my gut.
Pain seared through my body as I wrapped a hand around the knife handle, stumbled back and slid down to the floor in shock.
"Mamá, lo siento" I said as black spots appeared in my vision
