Frank's Point
"Well...there goes asking him anything" Leo said
"What do we do now?" I asked and Leo drew his sword
"Might as well try" Leo said before he closed his eyes and held his sword out in front of him.
"Hey dad, I need help. I have discovered where the man who killed my mom is and there is a man probably somewhere close in this forest who can help me avenge her but I don't know how to find him. Please, please guide my sword" Leo said then he began to walk turning a few times in different directions before his sword hit a tree and he opened his eyes.
"A tree? Now's not the time for jokes!" Leo yelled in frustration before he lend on the tree in disappointment and as he did a hidden door open in the trunk.
"That's unexpected" I asked
"So his in a tree house" Leo said snickering at his own joke before he walked into the door and began to descend a set of stairs and I followed close behold. But not to close just in case he set himself on fire for some reason.
We descend into a lab of some kind.
I walked over to a table and picked up a notebook inside it gave detailed description of a machine and the pain it Inflicted. the latest entries was about a man named Will Solace and by the description I knew he was the man we were looking for.
"This isn't good" Leo said and I looked up from the notebook to see him standing next to a table with Will laying on top of it unmoving.
I quickly put the notebook down and walked over, I placed two fingers against his neck to feel for a pulse but I couldn't feel anything
"He's gone" I said
"Maldita sea!" Leo yelled slamming his fist down on the table
"We should at least take him out of here" Frank said
"No" Leo said
"No?" I asked
"I'm not giving up" Leo said
"There's nothing we can do" I said
"True, but I know someone who can do something. Pick him up and lets go" Leo said
"By the way, do you have any money?" Leo asked as I picked Will up and we started to walk out.
"Not much" I said
"I hope it's enough for us to get a miracle" Leo said
We got out of the tree and walked away back towards the thieves forest leaving the still unconscious man on the ground.
When we were almost at the thieves forest Leo turned in another direction and continued walking for about 3 miles before a small hut came into view.
Leo walked up to the front door and knocked on the door.
"Go away!" A man yelled but Leo just knocked again then a smaller door at the top of the door slid open and a man's face appeared
"What do you want?!" The man yelled
"A miracle" Leo said
"Look, I stopped all that when the king's daughter fired me" The man said
"You helped me once" Leo said and I gave him a confused look
"Later" Leo mouthed as the man stared at him for a moment before he's eyes lit up a little
"Your the one who made the Valdezinator! Leo right?"
"How's it going Asclepius?" Leo asked with a smile
The small door closed and the actual door opened.
Standing behind the door was a man with a kind smile, salt-and-pepper hair a nice well trimmed beard and crinkle around his eyes. In his hand he held a black polished staff that had a live python coiled around it.
"What brings you back here?
"I need you to bring someone back to life" Leo said
Asclepius looked at Will for a moment before he waved us in.
"Set him on the table and I'll take a look at him" Asclepius said
I walked in and laid Will down on a table in the middle of the room then stepped to the side so I wasn't in the way.
"So who is he?" Asclepius asked
"He's a humble family man who has a wife and four starving children at home then rely on him to bring home enough food for one meal." Leo said
"That's a terrible lie" Asclepius said
"Fine his the one man I know can help me with a plan to get revenge on the person who killed my mother" Leo said
"So you want him alive to kill someone else?" Asclepius asked with a frown as he looked over Will.
"Yeah, but it's not like his a good person, he killed someone himself" Leo said
"I don't like the idea, but lucky for you I don't have to bring him back because his not dead" Asclepius said
"I'm sorry, but how is this not dead?" Leo asked as he picked up Will's arm and then dropped it.
"He may look dead, but his only mostly dead" Asclepius said
"Mostly dead?" I asked
"Means he's holding on but just barely, like someone holding on to the edge of a cliff. Watch" Asclepius said as he grabbed bellows and placed it in Will's mouth and after and few puffs he took it out.
"What makes life worth fighting for?" Asclepius asked before he pushed down on Will's chest
"Truuuue loooove" Will breathed out slowly
"The Princess's lover must actually be his lover" Leo said
"That would explain why the prince didn't seem to talk about the Princess much" I said
"And why Will wanted to rescue him" Leo said
"Wait, are you saying his after the Princess's groom?" Asclepius asked with excitement
"Yes, and think how humiliating it'll be when her groom is taken from her" Leo said
"A part of me would like to see that after being wrongfully fire" Asclepius said before looking down at Will again
"Do any of you know the meaning behind this tattoo?" Asclepius asked pointing at a sun tattoo Will had on his chest that I hadn't noticed before.
"No, why?" I asked
"He looks a little to much like someone I know" Asclepius said
"Who?" Leo asked but as Asclepius was about to answer a man with blond hair and golden eyes walked out of a back room.
