Ivory's POV

I would be told I'm working to hard. I thought to myself signing the endless line of papers securing my job, medical bills, mysterious bills, paying my workers unlike my parents when they were alive, I groan laying my head on the table. You aren't working hard enough, how can this be tiring. I looked at the pile of rainbow colored dust crystals sitting beside me, I did pull a ton out due to stress.

I get up and pace around the room, humming tiredly. What would your parents do? I think to myself, knowing they would cut workers pay, and double the price on the dust that we did sell. No I wasn't going to do that... that's a destructive business. I start crying.

"Why is it everything I do is destructive..."

"I didn't mean to loose you."

"I didn't mean to hurt you."

"I didn't mean to anger you."

I cry more, remembering his face as he was clapping for me at the ceremony. He was happy. I think. I don't think he wanted to go. Now that I replay the events in my head to I either pass out of stop crying. I could see that in the last moment he was there he just vanished into thin air. His semblance was to teleport away without a trace. He left on his own choice.

"Why am I cursed."

"I'm sorry."

I wipe the tears from my eyes sitting back down at my desk just as I hear a knock at the office door. I glare at the door not wanting to get up. I look at my papers a second; tired. "You may come in." I declare still wanting to throw something at the visitor. Several seconds of silence pass until the visitor walks in. I stand up astonished. It was Lukas's sister, the lavender haired girl with the new hidden blades, pastel green eyes, and a new and improved huntress outfit which consisted of darker colors then her last one and a Violet hood/cape.

"I missed you." I say smiling.

Temperence's POV

I wasn't sure about visiting Ivory my old friend but as I saw her tear streaked face I knew she wasn't insane as I heard some rumors say.

"I missed you too, I came here with a preposition." I say standing at the door with respect. She looks at me with curiosity before pointing to a chair beside the one she was sitting back down on. "Please sit, you look tired standing up." She giggles as I sit down beside her. She stands up "Coffee or tea?" she asks. "Do you need to ask?" I ask grinning, "Tea."

She returns seconds later with a two teacups and a tea pot. Both being ivory with gold and orchid flowers on them. "It's pepper mint tea, that's all I had sorry." She voices noticing I was watching her plop 5 sugar-cubes into her tea. "No I just don't see why you need that much sugar, I mean you already are made of crystal right?" I respond trying to be funny. She laughs handing me the other cup with no sugar in it. "Now what was your preposition you mentioned?" She asks as I sip from my tea.
