Evan's POV
After 2 hours of sleeping with Lily as all three of us skipped dinner; screaming was happening down stairs, presumably from Copper. I stared out the window as Lily groans beside me.
"What is she screaming about now?" I ask.
"I have no clue..." Lily mutters standing up from the bed.
"If you just stay here maybe she'll knock herself out." I grin.
Lily glares at me for a second before sitting back down beside me, "I'm mentally counting to 10 and if she doesn't shut up, I'm going to throw you down the stairs."
"Okay, I doubt you can even lift me up though." I comment.
"One." Lily says.
I laugh, "I thought you said you were doing it mentally so I wouldn't know-"
"Two."
I roll my eyes, the screaming still faintly lasting.
"Three." Lily says as it stops.
"I thought I wanted to be thrown the stairs for just a moment... what do you think she was screaming about?" I ask.
"I don't know because you persuaded me to stay." Lily says glaring.
"It wasn't persuasion." I say crossing my arms, "Go back to sleep."
"Fine," Lily mutters as be both lie beside each other once again.
Copper's POV
I shouldn't have helped out the first time, this happened, but here I was searching my own house, for someone I never fully hoped to retain a relationship with. After I gave Ace his semblance back, he was connected to my mind-scape, so I instantly knew when something went wrong with him. I found him laying in the kitchen; partially wondering on how he got from Vale, to Forever Fall in just a few hours. It cut his own throat, smelling like liquor, sex, and anxiety.
I kneel beside him, trying not to step in the blood. Failing I just sit, grabbing the blade he had in his left hand. The non-dominant one to boot, that explains the sloppy-ness of the cut... I look away taking off my jacket holding the blade up to my wrist, glaring. Did I really want to do this? Why would I? I can see disloyalty... then again it's mostly your fault. I sit the blade on my lap, not wiping it off, I take the memories that caused this.
After my successful attempt at remaining conscious, I positioning myself over Ace, slitting my left wrist first. Then using said left hand to cut the other. Shit I would've had better luck with- I fall forward my forehead being the only thing preventing me from smashing into Ace's face since the kitchen cabinet was in the way. I glare at the prosthetic arm, wishing I would have taken it off before hand. I drag my blood across his wound, using my aura and now useless hands, to rip off the fake arm, before I pass out I think to myself; My 5th death... I'm sorry for messing with your head so much over the years, may I hold all of your pain for you? I won't leave you this time.
Ivory's POV
After taking a shower at the motel, and getting dressed in the semi-not-cheap clothing; emerging from the bathroom, pulling out my scroll. I was already missing my everyday huntress clothing, I decided to look into virtual sewing lessons, as an argument broke out. I glare, putting my scroll away, it being 7 in the morning now, and the only ones who get a second of sleep, being Aiden and Temperence.
"OH MY WORD! You're telling me she didn't like working for her failing family business! I had no clue! How would I not know that?" Lukas snaps sitting down beside me on on of the now, remade beds, since the covers we disgusting.
"What do you guys not understand about renting another room?" Aiden says.
"Lukas! I'm just saying Ivory's money will eventually run out! I said nothing about the business! Temperence shouts.
This was the first fight Lukas picked in a few hours, I cross my arms amused. "We're not getting another room until you two stop fucking in this one!" Lukas shouts, laughing as he does so, it must be from the caffeine he had.
"You and Ivory would do the same thing if I wouldn't yell at her reminding her that you're trash!" Temperence shouts, also laughing. We're all sleep deprived lunatics.
"I bet Aiden is the trashiest of the trash, sorry I mean the darkest of the Charcoal-" Lukas laughs Aiden joining in to, but probably laughing at Lukas.
"You're the king two face of two faces!" Temperence laughs.
"Guys can you shut up now it's 7 in the morning." I ask, smiling.
Lukas looks at me with a grin on his face, "She told me to shut up! Oh my god, you broke my heart Ivory! I was just sitting here thinking about how we were suppose to get married and have millions of kids!"
"Why a million kids?" Aiden asks.
"And you were making fun of us!" Temperence snaps.
"A million kids, is better than one stupid one!" Lukas laughs, as his sister throws a newly-bought pillow at him.
"My kid will be 100 times smarter than your's! with Ivory being the monster mother she will be!" Temperence stops laughing as I glare at her. "I-I'm sorry."
"It's fine, just go to bed..." I mutter, laying down, and turning the lights off, before anyone else could converse with me.
