Released from Duty

Ivory's POV

After sleeping for almost 7 hours, I went back to my office, spinning around in my chair; instead of signing bills. What exactly was I suppose to do after we found and captured our old team mates? Demand that they become friends with us again? Kill them? No everything that's happened would be impossible to forget, and it would only get worse, if any of them were to die.

"Shit-" I spat as the chair breaks, sending me crashing into the floor. I sit up annoyed, but hey the floor wasn't dented. I stand up sitting in a no broken or spinning chair and start signing papers out of boredom. I had no more leads. Nothing else to look towards, besides new activity that will be destructive later on. I would be sitting here forever. Until I might manage to get onto my death bed.

Lukas's POV

I purposely wrote fake information. Though I was sure Copper didn't read anything unless it was a novel. I did hear word of Evan and Lily going back to Vacuo to manufacture more guns. I didn't hear word about Copper or Ace though. I for one, really don't like the snow all over the place- I'm going back to Vale. Standing in the crowd gathered around the center of the camp.

"7,000 troops for someone who can't show up on time." I can hear Copper say clearly, beside a women of black and red.

The women stands there for a minute, "Thank you Miss. Koyo." She unshelved her blade of red opening a portal behind the both of them, as the crowd gazes intently.

Copper walks away from the women, as the members gather inside the portal, due to the woman's orders.

"Are you not coming with us?" The Women asks seconds later as Copper stops walking between Ace and I.

"I have other things to attend to, but I assure you, I'll always be around. As of right now though, Raven I'm releasing myself from duty."

Raven nods underneath her mask as us the remaining five either look at her or Copper.

After Raven left we gathered around the last burning fire. "What are we going to be doing now?" I ask confused.

Lily chuckles, "We'll all lay low, until the combined forces make a move."

Evan sighs, "We're all splitting up then?"

Ace crosses his arms staring into space.

"Seriously though, when's our next meeting? Where are we going?" I repeat.

Copper stretches, "Anywhere you guys want to go, I'll send you there. Lukas I'm sure you could teleport yourself anywhere you'd want."

I glare for a moment, "I don't remember Ivory's house well enough." I say crossing my arms.

Copper smirks, "Fine save your aura... Lily and Evan you're first."

"YES!" Evan says yawning obnoxiously, "I'm going back home to Vacuo. I had 2 large orders to fill."

"I'm going with him, I left one of my revolvers there. I also want to buy that sniper rifle." Lily comments grinning.

I smirk, "You like guns Lily?" Both Evan and Lily glare at me, as Copper hands Lily her mask of blue and white. "That'll be enough aura to contact me anytime later." Copper says as Lily and Evan are teleported away. Shit, why is everyone so mad at me. Copper glares at me, "You already said Ivory's place so no backing down from that." I hold up my hands in surrender, "Where are you and Ace going? Just so I know?" I ask. Copper teleports me away not answering.

After a few seconds of darkness, I noticed I landed, hard on the front porch of the mansion. I stand up brushing off dirt from my white and violet shirt. Ringing the doorbell.

Aiden's POV

After getting food for Ivory who forgot to eat, and Temperence who nicely asked the doorbell rung. Answering it I glare as I notice it was Lukas. "Why the fuck are you here?" I ask.

"I came here, because I don't leave my team, hey let me in please?" He asks raising an eyebrow questioningly. Temerence and Ivory appear behind me.

"You bloody idiot." Ivory says glaring, and then walking back to her desk.

"You pissed off your wife." Temperence mocks, "Helping out the bad team again?"

"No I wasn't! I gave them false information, I mean mostly false information, but I saw Copper throw it away-"

I hold up a hand in front of my face, "Lukas how about, you shut up and just welcome yourself inside next time?"

Lukas shoves me out of the way, as I close the door, I notice he's sitting beside Ivory.

"Lukas I said stay away from her." Temperence growls from her chair.

I sit down beside my fiance.

"As I was saying, Copper released herself from duty today. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but Ace is there so that may lengthen the time." Lukas continues rubbing the scared side of his face.

"Lukas shut up-" Temp starts.

"Anything else that could be of use?" Ivory contemplates talking to him.

"Ace took your ship earlier not Lily. So you might find it back here in a few days, if Ace returns, Copper also died once." Lukas says crossing his arms and leaning back in his chair."

"What do you mean by once?" I ask yawning still tired even though it was like 5 in the afternoon.

"Her tails, I'm not sure if they hold more aura- that sounds really stupid- but she has 8 now, so unless she cut one off for fun, that may be a weakness or a torture device to use against her. As well as that she teleported me here, so that means she knows the coordinates of Vale, Vacuo, Atlas, and Mistrial, since she teleported things from all four places." Lukas explains boring Temperence.

Ivory nods. Standing up from her chair after making notes.

Temperence glares at the both of them.

"What would you all want for dinner?" She asks, even though we just ate a late lunch a few minutes ago. She must've been hoping for something elaborate that would take a while.

After a few confused glances between Lukas, Temeperence, and I; we decided upon Chicken Alfredo, with wine (Due to Temperence wanting to practice for a drinking race with Ace if he got back,) or green tea, due to Lukas. I honestly knew we were vegans but, eh why make things more difficult for Ivory?
