xi. royale with cheese.

The events from the night before left Rory sore, and not in a good way. She fell asleep quickly and only awoke when she turned over onto her leg and the pain surged, causing her to stir for a few seconds before she eventually repositioned herself in the single bed and went back to sleep.

Before she knew it, the dawn had broken and the light was shining through the curtains and onto her face. She groaned softly as she sat up, noticing Bucky was asleep in his bed but he had left her a glass of water on her bedside table. She smiled softly to herself at the simplicity of the gesture. It was such a small thing for him to do, but it was an extremely considerate act, which she appreciated. Aurora took a few sips of water, along with a few painkillers before she stood up and headed to shower and get ready for the day.

Aurora had begun to see Bucky in a new light. he wasn't a killer or a bad person, in face he was a victim just as much as she was. She was no longer scared of him and even thought for a second that she enjoyed his company and maybe this whole thing wasn't going to be as bad as she anticipated. 

All of these thoughts ran through her mind as she turned on the hot water and slowly showered, scrubbing her delicate skin with body wash as she used the time to plan her next move.

Once she was done, she climbed out and wrapped herself in a towel. She looked at the wound on her hip and noted that it hadn't bled anymore, so surely that was a good sign. It was in that moment that she realised that she hadn't brought a clean set of clothes in with her.

"Shit" Rory murmured, unlocking the door and stepping quietly out to grab a few items of clothing from her suitcase. As she walked out, she noticed Bucky already awake and stood by the desk, waiting to use the bathroom. "Sorry, I just need to uh.." Aurora said, moving swiftly over to her bag to grab some clothing.

Bucky was taken aback and tried his best not to look, even though everything was covered by the towel she was clenching around her body. Her blonde hair was still wet and looked darker due to this as it fell naturally around her shoulders and she was wearing no makeup but her skin still had a slight glow about it. He looked away as she hurriedly went back into the bathroom to change.

He waited for her to finish, then going to use the bathroom himself having said nothing about their previous encounter. He showered and changed and they were both ready for the day.

"Last day here, what do you want to do?" Aurora asked as she placed a few items back in her suitcase, figuring if she was all packed and ready to go then she couldn't convince herself to stay any longer than promised.

Bucky thought about her question for a moment, a pang of sadness washing over him as he watched her pack ready to leave the next morning. "I'm happy with whatever you wanna do" He responded "But maybe we could take it a little easier today? I don't want to have a repeat of last night, plus it looks like its about to rain anyway." He observed, looking out of the window.

Aurora nodded, still feeling the ache in her hip from the night before "Sounds good to me. Maybe we can find a movie in English?" She suggested.

Bucky nodded "I think that sounds like a plan... and I'll even let you pick, since I haven't well - seen a movie in 70 years" He joked, which was funny for a split second but made Aurora sad that he had lived even less of a life than she had.

"Alright, well that works for me" She responded with a shrug, taking the remote and heading to sit down on the end of her bed. She patted the space next to her to signal for Bucky to come sit with her, to which he was hesitant at first but did eventually sit beside her.

Rory flicked through a few channels before she found a movie channel playing 'Pretty Woman', which was a movie she enjoyed so she decided to put it on. "This is a good one, it's a romance type one. You'll love it" She smiled as the movie played.
