Summary: Y/n has a nightmare about someone breaking into her room, so she runs to her parents

Y/n wakes up in a cold sweat, her breathing uneven. She looks around her room and gets out of the bed. She leaves her bedroom and runs down the hall.

"Lady Y/n, are you alright?" A guard asks from his post.

"Yes, I'm quite fine." Y/n says.

She arrives at her parents room and bangs on the door. Bash opens it and his eyes soften when he sees his daughter.

"Oh, darling, what's wrong?" He asks as he ushers her into the room.

"I had a nightmare." Y/n says.

"Oh, darling." Kenna says as she gets out of the bed.

"Do you wish to sleep with us, darling?" Bash asks. Y/n nods and hugs her father, prompting him to hug her back.

He looks at Kenna and picks up his daughter, taking her over to their bed. He lays her down and the girls parents lay themselves on either side of her.

"Would you like to take about it, darling?" Kenna asks. Y/n shakes her head.

"No. I'm afraid I'll get too scared and cry." Y/n whispers. Her parents nod and Sebastian holds Y/n close.

"Just close your eyes, darling. Go to sleep." He whispers. And Y/n falls asleep in her father's arms, feeling safe and having sweet dreams for the rest of the night.
