Chapter Three - Moving Beds

Your P.O.V.

I wake up with Gustav cuddled up to me like a puppy. I smile and ruffle his hair as I sit up. Gustav holds onto me tighter and whines. I chuckle and run my hands through his hair. Just as I do that Tom barges into the room.

"Woah. Sorry if I'm interrupting." I look over and glare at him.

"I'm sure you are perfectly aware of the concept of knocking asshole." He laughs.

"Oh I do, the room doesn't have any sexual energy in it, you guys just slept together?" Gustav wakes up fully now and growls at Tom.

"You're too fucking loud." Tom steps back and raises his hands in defense.

"Teritorrial already Gustav? You just met her and you've already fallen for her." Gustav blushes and buries his face in my stomach. Tom walks over to him and drags him off of me.

"Ey! Knock it off, I need to take her to get clothes." Gustav pouts and heads out of my room. I give Tom a questioning look.

"What was with that reaction?" Tom shakes his head.

"He was scenting you."

"Scenting?"

"Y'know letting other wolves know you're his." I flush red.

"Oh." He shakes his head.

"Yeah, oh. Come on we have to go grab some clothes for you so I can show you how to get to and from this place." I get up and follow him out of the room. We head down the stairs and out the front door.

"You guys are so lucky this is my off day." He turns to me as we walk down the wooded path.

"We aren't lucky, you are. You're lucky Bill was curious about you or you would be dead." I turn and glare at him.

"You don't think I know that? I'm so worried about it that I feel like I'm gonna throw up." He smirks.

"I could fix that you know." I step away from him.

"Absolutely the fuck not, that thing you do when you touch me sucks. It's fucking painful man." He laughs.

"Not that, I can take your pain away for a short period of time, Bill is an expert of the mind but I am an expert of the senses. I can make people feel just about anything that I want, intense pain, intense pleasure, but I can also reduce people's pain." I step closer to him.

"Okay fine but none of that tricky shit." He chuckles and grabs my hand. I suddenly feel a little more relaxed, I don't feel like I'm gonna throw up anymore.

"Do you feel better?" I look up at him.

"Holy fuck, that's an insane ability." He laughs and lets go of my hand. We keep walking and we end up outside the forest. I know the area around here well enough to make my way back on my own but Tom follows me anyways. I head towards my dorm. Once I'm at the front door I turn to him.

"Okay you stay here and I'll go in and get my bag."

"Or I could hop into your room through your window."

"I still don't know how you ended up in my room yesterday, I'm on the second floor." He walks up to me and taps my chin.

"Reminder I'm not human." I push his hand away and walk into the dorm heading up to my room and opening the door. Once I'm inside I grab two bags and start packing the essentials and a few extra things. Lastly, I grab a stuffed bear I've had for a few years, usually, I can't sleep unless I'm holding something. I may not need the bear anymore though since Gustav seems like a cuddler. I finish packing and turn around to see Tom in my room. I jump a little and he laughs.

"Seriously you need to stop just appearing behind me like that." He chuckles.

"Is this everything?" He says this while motioning to my two bags. He grabs both of them and heads over to my window jumping out. I walk over to my window and look down. He looks up at me and smirks. He yells up at me.

"You coming?" I nod and go to turn around.

"Woah there you're jumping too." I look down at him with wide eyes.

"Oh hell no, I'll break a leg or something." He laughs.

"Not if I catch you." This guy isn't gonna take no for an answer, is he? I sit on my windowsill and push myself off of it closing my eyes. I feel myself land in his arms and I open one of my eyes. He's smirking down at me. I blush and look away.

"You can put me down now." He places me on the ground and I go to grab my bags. He grabs one and I grab the other. We start heading back to the mansion in the woods. Once we get back and open the door Gustav is already in the living room.

"Welcome back." I smile and thank him. He goes to walk up to me but Tom stops him.

"I know you wanna get your scent all over her but at least let her unpack first." Gustav blushes and goes to sit on the couch. I head up to my new room and start unpacking my bags \ once I'm done I sit on my bed. My anxiety peaks again making me feel sick. Tom's powers were only temporary after all. I decide to take a few deep breaths and head down to the living room. I sit down next to Gustav and he looks at me with a worried expression. I open my arms and he smiles coming over to me and hugging my waist. I run my fingers through his hair. I don't know why but cuddling with Gustav curbs my anxiety. Bill comes out and sits in a chair next to the couch turning to me.

"So tell me what do humans eat?" Wow, they don't even know that? That's pretty basic stuff.

"Uh, things like cooked meat and vegetables. We also eat fruit." He nods his head.

"I just need to know since you'll be living with us." I nod my head.

"I can do the shopping if you need me to if you want you can come with me and you can learn about the human world that way." He nods his head.

"Then we can do that after you come home tomorrow." I nod my head. Bill gets up and leaves. I sigh running my fingers through Gustav's hair to help calm myself down.

It seems I have a date.
