Chapter Thirty-Seven - Yet Another Creepy Encounter

Your P.O.V.

As we're eating lunch Em and I throw questions back and forth.

"So how did the blessing put on you get removed?"

"Bill had to remove it to check on me when I fell the day I met them."

"But it was a pretty heavy spell he must be pretty powerful to have removed it. He'd have to be one of the lords of hell."

"Well..." I trail off and Em's eyes widen in shock.

"No way! There's NO WAY! You're actually dating a demon lord?"

"Two." Em's jaw drops and I have to hold back my laughter.

"How on earth did you end up with not only one but two demon lords as your partners?"

"They're twins actually."

"I simply do not have the energy to get more shocked than I already am." She sighs and takes a bite out of her shortcake. I laugh and take a bite out of the pudding. It's so sweet that I can't help but smile to myself as I eat it. Gustav eats his sandwich in silence but his hand remains on my thigh the whole time. I'm so used to the feeling of one of them keeping a hand on me at this point that I barely notice that it's there. As I'm finishing up my pudding my phone goes off letting me know I should leave. I sigh and stand up Gustav getting up with me.

"I'm sorry Em, but I still have second shift yet." I give her a hug before throwing out my trash and walking out the door. I walk out the door holding Gustav's hand. We both get in the car and I drive back to work. I lead Gustav through the back and he sits at the table he was at before. I go to the back and put on my apron. When I come out there's a customer waiting to be served. I ask for their order and name. Once I have everything I start to make the coffee and pastry that the person asked for calling their name when everything is finished. I hand them the food and drink but they grab my arm pulling me toward them.

"I can see why Georg like's you so much, you smell amazing." The person looks up at me through their hood and I notice their eyes flash red. I see a hand grab the wrist of the person holding onto me.

"Hands off." I turn to see Gustav at his table ready to pounce on the person holding me. I look behind me to see Derrick very politely smiling down at the person that grabbed me. They let go of me and Derrick lets go of them. They walk off and I sigh in relief. I get back to work and Derrick keeps watch over me while I finish my shift. Once my shift is over I take off my apron and head out to Gustav. He looks up at me and I nod. We both head out the back together and I wave at Derrick on the way out. When we get home Gustav pulls me over to the couch and holds me close.

"I'm so happy to be home, all I've wanted to do today is hold you and I haven't been able to." He buries his face in my neck placing kisses up and down it causing me to giggle at the feeling.

"Gustav that tickles." As I laugh he starts to place more kisses on my neck. After a few seconds, the kisses turn into bites and now I have hickeys.

"(Name) I love you so much, I got so worried when that vampire grabbed you. I almost jumped on them." He squeezes me and I wrap my arms around him hoping to give him some comfort.

"How about we go to bed and cuddle, I wanna get some cuddles in with you before, y'know." I flush a little at the thought of what's bound to happen in a few days. He picks me up and carries me to my room. Once we get there I change into my pajamas turning to Gustav. I notice his cheeks flushed a little red and I chuckle. I get into bed with him and I wrap my arms around him. He wraps his arms around me pulling me close and placing a kiss on my head.

"Good night my sweet, rest well." I fall asleep listening to Gustav's heartbeat.
