"Okay, now for the offensive spells you're gonna have to hold my hands and pull magic from me since it's your first time." He holds out his hands for me to take. I place my hands in his and he grins at me.
"Tom has always been better at offensive magic but I can do my best." While Bill tries to teach me offensive spells and struggles the door to the library opens. I turn to the door and see that Tom walked in.
"You guys are still working on spells?" Tom comes over and sits next to me watching Bill try to teach me spells.
"Yeah, I'm struggling since you're the one that's better with offensive magic."
"Then let me take over. I'm sure you're tired from her pulling magic from you anyways." Tom pats Bill's shoulder and Bill stands up placing a kiss on my forehead before leaving. Tom claps his hands together.
"Okay, let's head out to the yard so we can practice without damaging anything." He grabs my hand pulling me out to the yard. He stands behind me holding my shoulders and leans over to whisper in my ear.
"Now, babe, I want you to imagine your hands are like a magnifying glass and your guiding light through them." He moves his hands from my shoulders running them down my arms and guiding them so I'm holding my hands up in a triangle formation. I take his advice and close my eyes imagining a light flowing through my hands. I feel him move his hands off my arms. As I'm concentrating I hear him gasp. I open my eyes to see a dark spot on the ground where my hands were focused.
"You did amazing, especially for your first try." He places a kiss on my cheek and I smile.
"Thanks. I'm still not used to this whole magic thing."
"You'll get used to it eventually. Wanna take a break for a bit and get something to eat?"
"Yeah." I smile placing a kiss on his cheek and walking back into the house. I grab an apple munching on it while Tom leans on me with his head on my shoulder.
"You know I'm hungry too right?" I feel him kissing my shoulder and I turn my head to him.
"Not right now Tom. I love you but now is not the time for that."
"But babe." He draws out the last word and I roll my eyes.
"We have other way more important things to worry about."
"Fine." He wraps his arms around my waist and pouts. I chuckle and place a kiss on his cheek.
