Your P.O.V.

Georg and I are out in the yard and I'm lying in the grass sweating. He stands over me with his arms crossed.
"Come on darling I know you've got more in you than that."
"I don't I haven't exercised this hard since I was in high school." I breathe heavily on the ground. He sighs and picks me up throwing me over his shoulder.
"Georg?! What are you doing?"
"You wanted to rest right? So I'm carrying you to the library so you can rest while Bill teaches you about the weaknesses of demons." I nod as he explains where he's taking me. He drops me off at the library and places a kiss on my cheek.
"Have fun." He waves at me leaving the library. I decide to look for Bill on my own, As I'm looking for him I feel a pair of arms wrap around me from behind.
"Hello dear, are you ready for your lesson?"
"Yeah," I nod my head. "So what are you gonna teach me?" I turn to him grinning up at him.
"We'll start with physical objects that demons are weak to and then we'll work on protection spells that most humans can learn."
"Wait humans can learn spells?"
"Yeah, not super advanced ones like demons or fairies but humans can learn basic stuff. Demons fairies and a few other creatures have a natural magic pool in them where they pull most of their magic from humans either have to pull from the world around them or from other creatures. That's where the tradition of witchcraft comes from actually." I watch him intently as he explains how magic works.
"Okay, that's actually super interesting. Let's get started though because now I'm even more excited to learn," I say grinning from ear to ear. He smiles bringing me over to a section of the library where there are some books already set up. He sits me down in a chair and picks up one of the books.
"Okay so let's start with physical objects that we demons are weak to. So there are the obvious things like crosses and holy water but we are also weak to objects that hold very happy memories for the holder. Things like old lockets or charm bracelets that hold good memories."
"Wait so the bracelet that Em got me the day I met her can hurt you guys? I'm so sorry." I panic slightly. My panic is stopped by Bill placing his hands on my shoulders. Once I calm down he opens the book he's holding back up.
"Oh no (Name), it won't hurt me or Tom. Luckily for us, the soul tie that binds us to you keeps us safe from any harm that would normally come from those objects." He closes the book and turns to me excitedly.
"Okay, now we'll start on holy protection spells. The spells aren't super complex so it should only take you a few hours to learn them. Let's start. Give me your hands-" I place my hands in his. "-Now, think of all the things that make you feel safe. Everything that makes you happy. I want you to imagine all of these things surrounding you like a protective barrier." I nod my head and take a deep breath thinking of the guys, Em, and Derrick—all the people in my life who have helped me. As I do I feel a gentle warmth surround me. When I open my eyes Bill is smiling at me.
"You did it! Well, I did help a little but you did it." He grins excitedly and pulls me into a hug.
"Thank you Bill, I feel safer now."
"Don't thank me yet, we still have some offensive spells to learn." He gives me a big smile and I can't help but smile back.
His excitement is contagious.
