I had so much fun shopping with my friends. We all wore our awesome new jackets. We even got a compliment from one of the store clerks. She asked if Sabrina took any fashion classes. I didn’t even know there was such a thing! Once we had sat down for a moment to have some ice-cream, my shout like I had said, I noticed something different, odd even.
“Where is Blade?” I asked searching for him.
“Blade wanted everyone to forget about the competition for a bit and just be girls so he is back at the mansion” Raven replied.
“I heard his father flew in today on a private jet!” Georgia said amazed.
“The Deans must be rich!” Sabrina said. I was worried that her eyes were going to pop out.
“You guys, that could just be a rumour...about the private jet that is. They are defiantly rich, remember where we are staying” I smiled.
“It is so cute that you miss him though” Sabrina sighed.
“Do you ever think he might be just trying to get to you by getting close to me?”I asked my friends. They all looked at me like I was crazy. They were probably right, Blade wasn’t like that. It was so strange how my opinion of Blade had changed over just one week.
“Who the hell is that?” Georgia pointed into the distance. I turned around to see Tristan walking smugly over with a big group of guys from Saint Anderson Academy.
“Oh it’s Chris, how do I look?” Raven gasped as she tried to straighten herself up.
“Beautiful” Sabrina giggled.
“Groovy” Georgia did thumbs up.
“What could he possibly want?” I asked under my breath. Then again maybe I had been too quick to judge Tristan just like I did with Blade. I had to give Tristan the benefit of the doubt. I took a deep breath as the group finally reached us, though most of the group had spread throughout the girls, so there were only about seven guys in front of us. In this smaller group, there was Tristan, Chris, the guy that had a crush on Georgia and a few Sabrina admirers.
“Iris, what a wonderful surprise to see you here! You know you don’t have to hang around here waiting for me” Tristan smirked. What was with this guy?! Tristan smirked to the Sabrina admirers who laughed until they noticed Sabrina glaring at them.
“Who are you again?” I raised my eye brows. Two could play this game.
“I love when you play hard to get” Tristan smiled again.
“I’m not playing anything” I replied innocently.
“Iris, it’s me...Tristan” Tristan was starting to look a little nervous.
“Oh I remember, this was the one you dated three years ago right!?” Georgia exclaimed. I guess she wanted to play too.
“No that was Brad...” I pretended to think out loud. “Anyway the point is you can leave your rose, presents or whatever with James” I stood up and began to walk away. Tristan grabbed my arm and swung me around.
“Stop joking Iris, it isn’t funny anymore” Tristan was glaring at me like he had a plan. I was guessing he didn’t want me to blow his cool reputation.
“Let go of me” I struggled to get away but his grip was too strong. It was actually starting to hurt.
“Not until you remember me!” Tristan said like he was threatening me. What was going on? I shook my head; I wasn’t going to give up that easy. Tristan wasn’t going to win just because he was stronger than me. I had to think of something. Making him angrier wasn’t going to help the situation. That’s when I saw Blade, out of the corner of my eye. Tristan must have followed my glaze because his grip tightened. Then something happened that I will never forget. Tristan leaned down and kissed me! This wasn’t what my first kiss was meant to be like. I didn’t want to be forced into. A teardrop slid from my eye as Tristan released me. He smirked at me and then at Blade and moved on with the rest of the Saint Anderson Academy boys. I twisted around to see Blade standing there, stunned. What was I going to say to him? I had to tell him it wasn’t my fault, that the kiss didn’t mean anything. But it would be no use. More tears rolled down my cheeks now as I began to cry. It was silent though so only my friends and Blade knew I was actually upset. I didn’t want to make another scene.
