Chapter Eleven

[A/N: Hey guys, here is chapter 11. Sorry I haven't uploaded in a while. Exams and assignments have been ruling my life sadly. I never noticed how long it took for everyone to get their breakfasts but after serving and taking orders I was pretty tired. I had not really gotten any sleep last night and I got up early. I hoped that today’s task wasn’t too physical. I waltzed into my dorm room to see all my friends getting dressed into their swimmers.

“Did I miss the memo?” I asked curiously.

“Today we are going to be doing something with the pool” Raven explained pulling a jacket over the top of her togs.

“I have heard rumours that it is bigger than the whole mansion” Sabrina giggled. Before I could reply I had a flashback of my giggle this morning with Blade. Maybe Sabrina was rubbing off on me.

“What do you look so happy about?” Raven inquired.

“Oh well…last night…Blade…kiss...” I stammered. I looked for Georgia for some help and she happily nodded.

“Last night Blade and Iris had a heart-to-heart and he told Iris that he loved her. Oh and they also kissed” Georgia explained everything. My smile widened as I recalled everything from last night again. I didn’t have much time to fantasise though because soon enough I was pulled to the ground from the hugs that Raven and Sabrina were giving me.

“That’s fantastic Iris. I’m so happy for you!” Raven cheered.

“I so told you that Blade loved you” Sabrina giggled, again.

“Ok ok, you guys were right. Now you have to let me go so I can get changed” I sighed. The two of them slowly got up and Georgia helped me up. “Thanks”

“No problem…did you want to see the timetable for today?” Georgia asked holding up a piece of paper.

Tuesday 27th May (Day 10)

7:00am – Breakfast

9:00am – Task 9 (Wear swimwear and meet in the hall)

2:00pm – Practice

6:00pm – Dinner

9:00pm – Film time (Laws of Attraction)

I sighed as I noticed the movie had been changed from “He’s just not that into you”. I mean I was not really feeling like it. I wondered if Blade was in charge of picking the movies, I would have to ask him one time. So after I studied the timetable I got changed into my togs. My swimwear was a lime green bikini. I covered myself with a baggy jumper and sweatpants. I didn’t really like how much skin I was showing. I would be fine once I got into the water but before I just felt too naked. I was one of those girls who weren’t as comfortable with their body shape as much as others. So, anyway on to the hall. The four of us strolled in to the room to see the rest of the competition girls were already there and chatting away. I did wonder how we always ended up being the last group to arrive. We weren’t even late.

“Good morning ladies” Blade called over the noise. Everyone felt silent and turned to the stage. Blade smiled and I felt like he was smiling at me. No, it wasn’t possible. How could he find me in a group this big? Whether my brain was agreeing or not I smiled back. It was another cheesy grin that I knew looked stupid but I didn’t mind right now. “Today you will all be able to see the mansion’s pool. Please follow James and the other butlers so you don’t get lost. I hope you enjoy yourselves” Blade finished and gave a small bow.
