The next morning was something Natalia greeted with a small smile as she woke up. She was still tired as her mind flashed to the events of the day before. Had it really happened at all? Or was she dreaming. Nope. It had happened, but there was not a single part of Natalia which was full of despair, wanting to change the events.
Billy and Jacob had already left - this time Jacob had actually gone to school this time. So Natalia finished her routine with a smile, everything was starting to get better. When she was finally dressed and fully sorted, Natalia couldn't help herself but grin at the sound of a car pulling into the driveway. Her smile grew as she looked out of her window to see a black volvo had taken Billy's truck's place. The girl bounded down the stairs, grabbed her bag and headed straight out of the front door. She wondered how long this would continue on for - silently hoping it would never end.
Jasper waited in the car, appearing to watch as Natalia shut the door behind her, making an effort to lock the deadbolt. She walked to the car, pausing shyly before opening the door and stepping in. He was smiling, relaxed - and, as usual, perfect and beutiful to an excruciating degree.
"Good morning." Jasper's voice was silky. "How are you today, darlin'?" his eyes roamed over her face, as if his question was something more than a simple courtesy.
"Good, thank you. How are you today, Jas?" mirroring his chipper mood, Natalia realised she had been alot more happier recently - more specifically when she was around the Hale boy.
Jasper squinted for a moment, winking at the girl before nodding "I'm good...you look a little tired, you feel it too, are you sure you're okay?" his gaze lingered on the smalle circles under her eyes for a little longer. Natalia nodded, suddenly rubbing her eyes to try and keep the attention on something else, "I couldn't sleep." she confessed, automatically pulling her loose and wavy hair to rest along her shoulder.
"Neither could I," he teased ad he started the engine. Natalia was becoming used to the quiet purr. She was sure the roar of her motorcycle would scare her when she next drove it. She laughed "I guess that's right, I suppose I slept a little more than you did."
"I'd wager you did." Jasper took his left arm off the wheel and reached over to take hold of Natalia's hand, resting his entwined hands on her leg as he carried on driving.
"So what did you do lastnight?" Natalia asked.
Jasper chuckled. "Not a chance today ma'am, it's my day to ask the questions."
"Okay...what do you want to know?" Natalia's forhead creased, she couldn't imagine anything about herself that could be in any way interesting to him.
"What's your favourite animal?" he asked, his face grave.
Natalia thought for a moment, "A cat, I think...yeah, a cat." she looked at Jasper to see his lopsided smile which made her head reel. He swiftly pulled her hand up to his mouth and pressed a kiss to her knuckles as he pulled into the school carpark. Jasper sent a glance her way as he parked the car beside Emmet's rover. The boy turned in his seat, knowing there was a small amount of time to spare, "What's your favourite book to read? Of all time?" Natalia realised she had been reading Romeo and Juliet for ages, over and over, wether it be online or her physical copy. When the girl told him, Jasper used his free hand to look through his satchel which sat down in the footwell, pushed up against the bottom of his seat, and pulled a copy of the same book.
Jasper held his copy of Romeo and Juliet out to Natalia , a soft smile showing as she took the book and grinned at the cover. She opened the book to see small notes written around the pages, with small phrases underlined. Natalia's eyes snapped up to look at the boy beside her, "You annotate?" he nodded, a chuckle leaving his perfect lips.
