The reservation had barely changed one bit since Natalia last stepped foot on the land properly. She was seven years old and it seemed to be one of the most exhilarating days of her childhood. Her Uncle was hosting a Barbecue on the res and everyone who lived there was invited.
Natalia smiled as she watched Seth Clearwater start sprinting toward her - the boy was a mess of flailing limbs as he ran. The girl laughed as he wrapped his arms around her, Natalia returned the gesture, a wide smile planted across her face as he shouted about something that excited him.
Seth was so happy to see her, she had said to him a few months ago that she would come and visit the reservation and he was ecstatic that she has kept true to her word.

"Natalia! I'm so happy your here! The boys are all off at the end of the field...Come on!" He pulled away and took hold of her arm, gently leading her toward the back of the huge field.
Natalia laughed at the huge smile on Seth's face as they continued walking. "What have all of you been up too lately? Missing me? Hm?"
"Of course we have! You've not come in so long. Sam has been telling us that you would - and you have!"
"Of course I have. I promised you, didn't I." For a fifteen year old boy, Seth was still the same as he was, happy and full of light. Natalia smiled as they got closer to the huge group of boys, she remembered all the times they would get together for family events as kids.

"Ah, Natalia, it's nice to see you..."
The girl smiled up at Sam who had walked toward them, she returned the hug he enveloped her in. "It's nice to see you too. How've you all been?"
Sam grinned, gesturing to the others, "teaching restraint to our newer shifters."
Seth gawked up at Natalia, the slight height difference obvious. "You know? What? How-"
Natalia nodded her head, "I know quite a lot actually, just as shocked as you are right now to be honest. It's not everyday you find out most of your family are werewolves." The girl chuckled, walking in between the pair as they slowly made their way across the field.

Once they were halfway across the field, Sam came to a stop, waiting for both Seth and Natalia to stop as he sighed. The girl looked at him, confused as to why he stopped. Sam looked over at the group of the others, his mind being filled with reasons to tell Natalia to turn around and go home.
"Natalia, there's no good way to tell you this..."
"Don't tell me someone's dying-"
Sam shook his head, his emotions reflecting clearly from his eyes. He was angry. About what - Natalia had no clue, but he seemed so pissed off.
"What is it, Sam?"
Seth's head turned around to look at the others, so quickly, Natalia thought he was going to fall over. Something was definitely wrong.
"Your mother is here-"
Natalia gritted her teeth, anger bubbling so high she thought she might actually kill someone. "You're lying to me. She's not here - there's no way she's here!" Lo-and-behold, the woman started walking toward the three.

Natalia shook her head, her hands balled up into fists at her side as she stared at the woman for a moment. She turned around on her heels and started walking back to her motorbike. Natalia decided the moment she locked eyes with Haley from the other side of the field, she was not sticking around to hear more of the woman's lies.
From behind her, Seth looked between Natalia and the other woman, confusion lacing his features. He didn't know what was happening, but he could almost feel the anger radiating from Natalia.

Sam watched as another woman came out from behind Haley Black. Her features were a little more youthful, she was younger. But she was older than Natalia. Realisation rippled through Sam's brain, almost immediately knowing that Annabeth had also returned to Forks which meant only one thing.

"Natalia Lily Black! Don't you dare turn your back on me!"

Natalia stopped walking, her back still facing everyone as she contemplated her choices. She could make a run for it and leave on her motorbike right now, get away from them. But what was the point in running when they would eventually find her. Natalia wanted this over and done with, this wasn't what she came to the res for. The girl slowly turned around, her mouth dropping open as she laid her eyes on both woman who had stopped where Sam and Seth stood, about twenty feet away from her. Natalia locked eyes with her sister, Annabeth sent a small smile as she nodded her head at Natalia. The girl slowly started to walk back to them, "what are you doing here?"
