200 years later

KIDNAPPED

Every Monday Wednesday and Friday. The Divine Children would stay after class and head to a secret room hidden within the college. They mostly did power control. So far within a few months, the students were able to manage their power.

Every day after school, Kai and Ichiro would go to the library. On weekdays Kai would work in the café in the evening, on the weekend he works there all day. Kai got a decent score in college. He can be stupid or smart at times. Day after Day it was the same, and Kai enjoyed it. It made him feel like he is human again.

Kai still feels guilty about the 14 children who died due to the Divine Power. He often visits their graves and then heads over to Gianna’s grave. He would tell her stories of College, Ichiro, and Catherine. When he had a bad day, he would often go to her. Catherine found him there sleeping once. He was happy but as the saying go “All good things must come to an end.”

“Come on” Kai grunted as he tried to make his line of sight better. So far he can see up to 600 meters and still going. “Kai still going?” a student asked. Kai nodded. “Yea, I am trying to see my house. If that is possible” Kai smirked as he deactivates his Divine power and get ready to leave.

It was a Friday and Kai was heading for the train to get home when suddenly he was grabbed.

“MHMHMHM” “Quiet now. You don’t want to draw attention now, would you.” The man said as he wraps a cloth around Kai's mouth. Kai fell unconscious as the man drag him away from the train station.

Meanwhile, Ichiro went to the Café to look for Kai. He never missed a session before except when it was a medical emergency.

He ran inside the Café yelling for Catherine. She went to him and dragged him into the living quarters.
“Catherine Kai hasn’t shown up yet!!” He yelled and Catherine immediately tried to call him. “It went to voicemail,” She said. She held on to her necklace to check if he was alive. The necklace glowed faintly before going back to normal. “He still alive. I’ll close the café early to find him” Ichiro nodded.

Kai woke up in a bunker. Hands tied to the ground. It reminded him of Lab so much he nearly started vomiting.

The door opened and he saw the man that kidnapped him. “well seems like you had a good night's sleep didn’t you?” The man said as he went towards Kai. “Nice to see you again ‘Test Subject 15’” He smiled.
Kai couldn’t forget that voice. The voice that started all of this. “Kuzma” Kai mumbled. “oooh I am so glad you remember me,” Kuzma said.

“How did you survive?” Kai asked. Kuzma puts down the scalpel and said. “I’m a scientist 15. Did you expect me not to make a drug that makes me live for 500 years” Kai was shocked. “What the?!” Kai started yelling. “DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT YOU DID TO THOSE 14 CHILDREN!!!” Kuzma gave him the side eye.
“Oh, you mean the failure. Indeed I remember. I hold no remorse for it” he said as he unlocks Kai's restraints and grabbed him by the arm.

“You know I miss you 15,” He said as Kai blew him a raspberry. “Well, I sure don’t miss you. Just die already old man” Kai tried fighting back his captor. “I got more planned for you. “Nah uh huh 15.  That bad extra punishment for fighting back” Kuzma said as he hit Kai and threw him in a room.

“WHAT THE?!” Kai landed on a floor that had a big seal on it. ‘A seal?!’ “So you noticed” Kuzma went closer to him. “Indeed it is a seal. A seal to take your Divine Power. That power is mine!!!!” he yelled as the seal starts to activate. 'Sh*t’ Kai mentally cursed. Activating his eyes. He scanned the room for an exit.
‘C’mon I need an exit’ Kai kept searching for land. The seal was draining his energy fast. ‘Darn it. I don’t see any land’ The seal kept draining his energy. He can feel the Divine power fading.
