After you showered up, you headed towards the lair. Without a phone, you weren't able to warn Donnie of your impending arrival—hopefully that wouldn't be suspicious. He knew you didn't have your phone, and you told him you wanted to talk later. As you looked down at your feet, you wondered when he'd find out about your betrayal and how he'd react. If you had time to explain, surely he would understand...right?

You sighed quietly. Any chance you had with Donnie would be gone after this. You knew what you were being blackmailed into doing was wrong, and your stomach had become full of lead because of it—it had sunk down to your shoes, and guilt weighed on you with every step you took. But you couldn't just let the Purple Dragons ruin your life. You were making the right choice. At least, that's what you told yourself.

As you arrived at the lair, you spotted Raph as he walked by. "Hey (Y/n), how was the game?"

"We won, of course." You put on an overly cocky grin, but kept on walking.

"Glad to hear it. The next game is at state, right?" His eyes followed you, a small frown decorating his face when you refused to stop and talk to him. You no doubt looked suspicious.

"Yep. I was just gonna go talk to Donnie about something, but I'm really tired so I won't be here long." You let out a fake yawn, sending him an apologetic smile. He nodded, his kind smile returning.

"Don't stay up too late, and make sure to stretch before you go to bed!" he called after you, and you waved to the father figure before heading into Donnie's room. You really hoped this didn't affect the other turtles—you already felt bad enough.

"How was the game?" Donnie asked, not even bothering to turn around in his chair at his desk. You assumed he heard you talking to Raph.

"Great. We won after I came back." You flashed an overly happy grin, then wiped it from your face after you remembered he wasn't even looking at you.

"Then it's a good thing you got back in time." You heard him tinkering with something, and he examined whatever it was closely with his goggles on. Shelldon whizzed over to you and you gasped in surprise.

"Sup dudette!"

"Sup?" He held out a rotor and you stared at him for a moment, confused.

"Are you gonna leave me hanging?" he asked, and you quickly bumped your fist into the rotor.

"Right, sorry."

He zipped around you. "It's no problemo, brah." You bit your lip, debating if now was a good time to ask about it. "What's wrong?" The drone was more perceptive than you anticipated—especially considering his maker.

"I was just wondering where that thing the Purple Dragon's are after is." You shrugged casually, and Shelldon's eyes widened.

"Have those jerks been harassing you?" he asked, sounding more angry than he could really look.

"They tried to steal her phone to find out where we live," Donnie spoke up, still occupied with his invention. Shelldon faced you with wide eyes, then whispered some code under his breath.

"And I destroyed it so they couldn't." You rose one shoulder in a shrug, smiling lightly.

"Dude...my respect for you just, like, doubled." The drone couldn't look away from you, and you smiled a little wider and a little more forcibly. You wondered how quick that respect would deplete once he found out.

"Thanks Shelly." You patted his head. "But I'm still wondering where that thing they're after is."

"Oh, the Shadow Transmitter?" He flew over to Donnie's desk, where you noticed the small, dark red sphere was resting. It had a glowing red circle on its surface, and it hummed with power. You walked over to it, picking it up. That was easy.
