She assured herself two weeks earlier as she threw the clothing into her suitcases that she would go back home, where she truly belonged, and no more of this Austin, Texas, BS.
Y/N groaned as she pulled up in front of the house she had inherited from her grandmother and watched the streetlights glimmer with the sheen of rain as the leaves on the trees blew in the strong Canadian wind.
As she hurriedly exited her car, slung her bag over her shoulder, and hastily locked it twice before fumbling for the keys to open the door to her new house. The lock clicked as she walked inside and softly slammed the door behind her.
She ultimately located the light switch, flicked it on, and grinned as the lights illuminated the furnished home exactly as she had left it before making one final trip to Austin to bid her farewell. After that, she vanished into thin air.
TIME SKIP (wahoo! )
A weary young woman was roused from her sleep by the loud alarm. She grumbled and pulled the thick blanket back over her in an effort to go back asleep before realizing that she had high school today—the same high school she attended as a grade 9 student three years earlier.
Throwing herself from the bed, she yawned once more and stumbled out the door, kicking the bag as she went. She then began to fight with her y/h/l hair before deciding to take a shower.
Raking her fingers through her hair, she started to condition it, exhaling in pleasure at how silky it felt. She then tipped her head back into the shower, grinning as the warm water struck her face, then pushed her head forward once again, reaching back to grab the body wash.
It was september in Canada, so she would need to put together one hell of an outfit, she realized as she climbed out of the shower and grumbled at how suddenly chilly it felt without the water.
outfit option one !
outfit option two !
outfit option three ! (pretend there's like a band shirt or smth <3)
Sighing, she dragged her phone out of her pocket and started scrolling through the barrage of unread messages from people in Austin before her eyes landed on kryoz. She realised that she still had her friends' numbers from before she moved.
When she clicked on his contact, her finger lingered over the "call" button as she nearly second-guessed her choice to make the call. As the phone rang, she almost gave up hope before he answered.
"hello?" he questioned
"hi, its me- y/n from 9th grade?" she smiled beginning to walk again
"oh! holy shit, hi how're you?" she could hear the smile in his voice
"im good man, listen im back in toronto and im going back to the school we went to for grade 13, do you think you could like take me back to the old group? i have the same schedule i think."
"oh yeah for sure i'll meet you at the door like old days?"
"for sure, see ya borther"
"see ya later borther."
