“What?” I asked.

“Why are you asking what?” Hyunsuk hyung asked me back. I was casually doing my work when Hyunsuk hyung suddenly sent me a message. Not just a random message. It was a QR for a ticket for a Chainsaw Man anime movie. He asked me if I am free this Saturday earlier today. But I didn’t expect that he’s going to buy the ticket. Right after he sent me the message, he called me. “Why? You suddenly are not free at that time? What to do? Should I sell it?”

“No. No. I’m totally free,” I said. “I just didn’t expect you to buy it. I thought I am the one who’s going to buy the ticket and ask you when you’re free,”

“Cool then. Let’s watch it together,” Hyunsuk hyung said.

“Are you sure, hyung?” I asked.

“Why should I not be sure?” Hyunsuk hyung asked me back.

“You’re not really a fan of anime. I know you’ll not really enjoy the movie. You’re going to spend like 2 hours in a cinema to watch a movie you’re not really familiar with,” I told him. Like. It was me who enjoyed that kind of genre and I know it too well that Hyunsuk hyung wasn't really interested in that genre. Sure, I want to spend my time exploring my favorite things with the person that I like but I don't want Hyunsuk hyung to get bored or feel like he doesn't want to hang out with me anymore at the same time.

"Yah. I won't be the one who buys the ticket for us and asks you when you are free to watch it together if I don't want to. I don't have to be a fan of a genre for me to accompany someone who loves a genre watching a movie, don't I?" Hyunsuk hyung asked. "Don't worry about it. Just make sure you show up on Saturday. If not, I'll make sure that you're going to pay triple of the price of the ticket,"

"Why are you suddenly threatening me like that? I'll surely go, especially someone who already bought the ticket for me," I said.

"Okay then. See you on Saturday," Hyunsuk hyung said before he ended the call right away. I just stared at my phone's screen for a while after the call ended.

"Stop staring at your phone and send me the data from the meeting last week," Junkyu suddenly said. I turned toward his direction. When did he arrive? I remembered that he's on a business trip for a week.

"Eh? Are you already done with your business trip?" I asked.

"Yeah. I got the problem settled earlier than expected. I just need to review and approve the data for the meeting this Saturday. You're going to attend the meeting, right?" Junkyu asked. Wait! What?! "Did you forget about it already?"

"Wait! The meeting is this Saturday?" I asked. Just to make sure.

"Yeah. Seems like you totally forgot about it. The meeting is this Saturday at the Grand Blue Hotel,” Junkyu said. Shit. I totally forgot about it. I have a meeting to attend on Saturday?! I quickly opened the scheduler application on my phone. It’s true. I have a meeting. I opened the message that Hyunsuk hyung sent to me earlier. The time for the movie overlapped with the meeting. What should I do? “Did you double booked yourself?”

“No. I just. I forgot,” I sighed. “I’ll send the data via email now,”

I looked for the data that Junkyu asked me earlier. Should I tell Hyunsuk hyung that I can’t make it this Saturday? I’ll just pay him triple of the price for the ticket then. But, I have to say goodbye to a movie date with Hyunsuk hyung.

“I saw that your close friend updated that he’s going to watch a movie on Saturday with a friend. He meant you, right? The friend?” Junkyu asked. I just remembered that Junkyu is also mutual with Hyunsuk hyung on all of his SNS. Did Hyunsuk hyung updated something?
