I pressed the bell and waited for Hyunsuk hyung to open the door. I've told him beforehand that I'm coming over. Hyunsuk hyung has been whining that he’s tired and hungry through messages earlier. That’s why I am here now. I just finished buying some vegetables and other ingredients to cook for Hyunsuk hyung. He told me that he has been ordering food because he's busy with his work and now he doesn't know what he should order anymore. I didn't tell him that I’m going to his house to cook or anything. I just told him that I wanted to see him. He just said okay. Hyunsuk hyung has been doing too well with his photography gigs.

After the collaboration photoshoot he had with Asahi for the models from the agency Jahyuk works at, Hyunsuk hyung suddenly got a lot of demand for his work. Hyunsuk hyung got a lot of calls asking him to be event’s photographer or even personal photographer. Hyunsuk hyung is struggling a little because he has been working only by himself since he’s not under any company or agency. He has been doing everything alone. Because of the high demand, Hyunsuk hyung had to decline some of the gigs because he only took a maximum of 3 gigs per day. Some of his clients even offered him a higher price but Hyunsuk hyung rejected it politely.

Hyunsuk hyung said that he has been doing his work because he loves taking pictures. And he wanted people to have their memories framed in beautiful photos. Hyunsuk hyung prioritized the quality of his works. He has been doing this because he wants to make sure that the clients will be satisfied with his works and the photos he took. Not just because of the money. Hyunsuk hyung thought that if he took every gig, it’s not like he couldn't make it. But he’s not confident if he can make sure the quality of the photos he produces is on the top notch if he has less time to complete his works. There are some potential clients who mock and belittle him for not taking the gig they asked for. Hyunsuk hyung has been whining about that every time he got a chance to do so.

I pressed the bell again. Hyunsuk hyung took quite a long time to just open the door. It’s not like I didn’t know his passcode but Hyunsuk hyung is the type who will lock the door manually from inside as well when he’s at home. So, I feel like it’s better if I just wait for him to open the door. After a little more waiting, Hyunsuk hyung still didn’t open the door. I took out my phone and dialed his number.

“Hello?” Hyunsuk hyung asked as soon as he answered the call. Judging from the sound of his voice, it seems like he’s in the bathroom with the echoing shower splashing sound. He answered the phone while taking shower? Is that why he hasn't opened the door yet?

“Hyunsuk hyung. I’m here,” I said.

“Oh. Jihoonie. Just come in. I didn’t lock the door from inside. I’m currently taking a shower,” Hyunsuk hyung said.

“Alright. I’ll come in. Take your time,” I said before I ended the call. I kicked in the passcode of Hyunsuk hyung’s apartment and opened the door. I can hear the splashing sound from the direction of the bathroom. I walked toward the kitchen after I closed the front door. I put the groceries on the kitchen counter. Looking at the trash can, Hyunsuk hyung indeed has been ordering take outs for days. I looked around. I decided to clean his house a little.

Judging from the mess in his working room, he really has tons of work to do. I’ll just tidy up the living room and the kitchen. After I finished it, I collected the trash that I’m going to throw out. Hyunsuk hyung walked out from the bathroom a few minutes after I entered his apartment. He’s just fresh out of the shower, half naked. As if it’s the first time I saw him half naked. I mentally slap myself for getting all giddy like this. I quickly looked away. Chasing away the weird thoughts I have in my mind.

“Ah. I’m sorry to make you clean my house. I’ve told you many times that you didn’t have to clean my house, didn’t I?” Hyunsuk hyung asked while drying his hair with another towel, sexily. Nope! Stop. We all know that Hyunsuk hyung is attractive and sexy But stop these weird thoughts in an instant. “Jihoon-ah? Are you alright?”

“I’m fine. I’ll just throw this out first,” I said, showing the trash I just collected.

“Oh. Okay. Thanks a lot,” Hyunsuk hyung said. I just nodded and walked out to throw the trash out. I took a deep and long breath before slowly exhaling it. Calm down, Park Jihoon. You’re good. You can control yourself. You're not going to make Hyunsuk hyung freak out or anything again. You don’t want any awkward situation between you and Hyunsuk hyung ever again. Right. I can do it. I’m here just to hang out and take care of Hyunsuk hyung because he has been too busy with his work. Yes. I can do this.

After throwing out the trash, I walked back to Hyunsuk hyung’s apartment unit. Hyunsuk hyung was already dressed up with his favorite football jersey and sitting at the kitchen counter while scrolling through his tablet.

“You’re back,” Hyunsuk said with a bright smile. It just makes me smile back at him. “I’m sorry to make you clean my house when you’re just here to hang out. I’m sorry I couldn’t find any time to hang out with you,”

“It’s okay. I’m the one who insisted on doing so. And you’re busy because of your work. I’ve told you that my Hyunsuk hyung looks the coolest when he’s working,” I said.

“You really know how to flirt huh?” Hyunsuk hyung giggled. Oh? Does he consider that as a flirt? I’m just being honest though. “Is that why you keep hanging out around me when I’m still working?”

“Hm.. Probably,” I said. “But if you’re not okay with me being around when you’re working, just tell me. I just wanted to spend some time with you. Both of us are busy with work so I figured I should visit you on the weekend. Just tell me if you feel like me being around makes you uncomfortable or can’t do your work. I’ll just find another way to hang out with you,”

“Hm,” Hyunsuk hyung put down his tablet and stared at me. I walked toward the kitchen counter to prepare for cooking. But Hyunsuk hyung kept on staring at me.

“Yes hyung?” I asked. It kind of makes me feel shy having Hyunsuk hyung staring at me like that.

“I’ve been wondering about it for a while,” Hyunsuk hyung said. “Is your love language quality time? I see you have been finding times to hang out with me even though the two of us are extremely busy,”

“Why? You feel my love already?” I asked.

“I wonder,” Hyunsuk hyung said. “But it’s nice though. Having someone who definitely willing to stay by our side even though they’re busy,”

“Do you like having me around or do you just like having someone around you?” I asked.

“I don't know. You’re the one who is always around me whenever. Even when you and I are both busy. Remember when we’re in college? We are both super busy with the thesis and reports but you stayed at my place and just did our work. We didn’t even talk to each other that time because of our own work,” Hyunsuk hyung said. Hyunsuk hyung is right. Since the very start, it was me who tried my hardest to spend my time with Hyunsuk hyung. I just want him to remember that I’m here, right by his side. And it’s me who’s always going to his place anyway. Since the very start. “Ah! It reminds me. How is it going? With your crush?”

“Hm?”

“You told me before that you’re going to confess to your crush. How is it going?” Hyunsuk hyung asked.

“I wonder,”

“What do you mean by you wonder? You haven’t confessed yet?” Hyunsuk hyung asked. “Seriously, Park Jihoon?”

“I just couldn’t gather the courage yet, hyung,” I said.

“Why? I can guarantee that your crush will be grateful to have someone like you. Just confess already. You’ll make a very perfect lover,” Hyunsuk hyung said.

“You think so?”
