Amelia's head felt heavy as she rubbed her eyes, trying to fight off the sleep that had crept up on her. Suddenly, she caught a familiar scent, musky with a tinge of cologne yet comforting. She slowly lifted her head and was surprised to find herself leaning on Krum's broad shoulder.

"Krum!" she exclaimed, almost falling from her seat, feeling a wave of warmth spread through her body.

He turned to her with a gentle smile and asked, "Are you alright, Hedström?"

Amelia felt a shiver run down her spine as she gazed into his deep, caring eyes. She couldn't help but blush at the sight of him. "I'm fine," she replied, feeling her heart flutter in her chest.

Viktor leaned in closer and placed a gentle hand on her back, steadying her. Amelia felt a rush of emotions overwhelm her as she looked up at him.

Lexie stepped into the helm, carrying a tray of steaming coffee. As she approached Amelia, she noticed a black smear on her cheek.

"You have ink in your face, Amelia," she remarked, holding out the tray to her friend.

Amelia let out a frustrated sigh and immediately rushed to the nearest porthole to check her reflection. "I must have gotten it in my hand when I was marking the maps," she muttered. "Why do I always have to look like I just rolled out of bed whenever I'm around Krum?" Amelia groaned inwardly, feeling self-conscious about her disheveled appearance. She ran her fingers through her hair, hoping to at least tame some of the unruly waves from her ponytail.

Viktor glanced over at her, his eyes lingering for a moment longer than necessary. Amelia felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment, convinced that she must look like a total mess.

Lexie, on the other hand, seemed oblivious to Amelia's inner turmoil. "You know, Ame, I've always admired your ability to fall asleep anywhere, anytime," she said with a grin.

Amelia let out a small laugh, grateful for the distraction. "I guess it comes in handy at times," she replied, grateful for Lexie's ability to lighten the mood.

Danil lifted his coffee cup to his lips, taking a sip of the steaming liquid before speaking up. "Viktor, how about taking over jotunn's post by the crows nest? And bring Hedström with you. I think she needs the fresh air," he suggested, casting a knowing glance at Viktor.

Viktor arched an eyebrow in surprise at his friend's suggestion, but quickly understood. He gave Danil a small nod of appreciation before turning to Amelia. "Are you coming, Hedström?" he asked, already reaching for his coat.

Amelia's heart rate quickened at the mere thought of being alone with Viktor, but she tried to maintain a calm exterior. "Sure, let me just grab my coat," she replied, forcing herself to stand and follow Viktor towards the door.

Atop the crows nest, Amelia couldn't help but feel a sense of exhilaration as she looked out at the vast expanse of the sea. The cool breeze that swept through her hair was invigorating, and she was grateful to Danil for suggesting this. As she sat next to Viktor, she noticed how the night sky was illuminated by the stars, casting a beautiful glow over the ship and the sea. The sail cloths billowed softly in the wind, creating a serene atmosphere that calmed Amelia's mind. She took a deep breath, feeling her lungs fill with the fresh air. Turning to Viktor, she couldn't help but notice how his eyes sparkled in the moonlight, and how his features were softened by the gentle glow. For a moment, she forgot about everything else and just enjoyed the peaceful moment with him.
