As night fell, the delegates and professors gathered around the Leviathan II, beaming with pride and satisfaction as they admired their hard work. The ship looked as good as new, and they couldn't have been happier with the result. They exchanged congratulatory remarks and patted each other's backs, pleased with the successful outcome of their efforts.

"I can't believe we did it," exclaimed one of the delegates, a wide grin on their face. "We managed to pull it off!"

"We couldn't have done it without the combined efforts of everyone here," replied one of the professors, looking around at the group with admiration.

The sense of solidarity and accomplishment was palpable as they all shared in the success of the repair. It was a moment that they would remember for a long time to come, a testament to their hard work and dedication.

Karkaroff bellowed at Viktor and Amelia, his voice dripping with authority and arrogance. "You two, I order you to take this shift off! Do you not understand the importance of keeping Hedström safe and have you on top of your game?"

Viktor and Amelia exchanged a glance, both bristling at the condescending tone of their professor. "With all due respect, sir," Viktor spoke up, his voice firm. "We are part of this delegation. We will not be set apart from our comrades."

Karkaroff scowled, clearly displeased with their defiance. "Very well," he spat out. "But if anything happens to her under your watch, it will be on your heads."

Viktor and Amelia stood tall, their determination unwavering. They would not be intimidated by Karkaroff.

As they made their way to the helm, Lexie couldn't help but voice out her thoughts on Karkaroff's actions. "What got into Karkaroff?" she asked, her tone laced with curiosity.

"He 'ordered' that Hedström and I take the night shift off," Viktor replied, his expression revealing his confusion at the Headmaster's sudden favoritism.

Danil, always quick to pick up on the subtext, chimed in. "Oh, see that jotunn? Karkaroff wants to get into Hedström's good side."

Amelia, who had been quiet until then, spoke up. "I don't like the treatment," she said, her brow furrowing in displeasure.

Lexie couldn't resist adding her own analysis of the situation. "It's because Viktor is his best bet in the Triwizard Tournament, and our Amelia here can easily ward him with protection during the competition. Honestly, man-baby, I thought you had figured that out already," she said, her tone teasing.

Amelia couldn't help but feel uneasy about Karkaroff's sudden interest in her well-being. She had noticed the way he had been trying to ingratiate himself with her and her friends, and it made her uncomfortable. She didn't want to be a "trophy student" that Karkaroff could use to further his own agenda. As she and Viktor headed to their shift at the helm, Amelia couldn't shake the feeling that Karkaroff was up to something. She knew he was focused on winning the Triwizard Tournament, and she didn't want to be used as a pawn in his game. Despite Viktor's reassurances that everything would be fine, Amelia couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. She vowed to keep her guard up and not let Karkaroff's manipulations get the best of her.

That night, Viktor took over the stirring while Amelia focused on navigation. Lexie and Danil, on the other hand, made their way up to the crows nest to keep watch for any potential dangers. As they settled into their positions, Amelia couldn't help but feel a sense of unease about Karkaroff's recent behavior. She didn't like the idea of him trying to win her favor, especially if it meant showing favoritism towards her and Viktor. It just didn't sit right with her.
