Viktor slowly stirred from his cot, blinking as he tried to clear his head. His memory was hazy, the last thing he recalled was the excruciating pain that had felt like his blood was boiling on the inside. He remembered Amelia's tears and the blurry images of his friends, Lexie, Danil, and Safer.

Viktor's body felt heavy as he tried to move, and he winced at the pain that shot through his torso. But the sight of Amelia sleeping next to him, her hand tightly gripping his, brought him some comfort.

He glanced over to see Lexie and Danil asleep in a cot next to him. Despite the dire situation they were all in, he couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of Danil's drool forming on Lexie's back.

Looking around the room, he saw Asen, Damien, Safer and his father Ivan sitting in one corner, their eyes tired but determined. They had been there all night, keeping watch and offering support for him and Amelia.

Amelia noticed his movement, she sat up quickly, her eyes widened with joy and relief as she exclaimed, "Guys, he's awake!" to the others gathered around.

Everyone quickly made their way over to Viktor's bed, each expressing their relief at his recovery. Lexie and Danil were also roused from their slumber, with Danil still visibly groggy. Despite the early hour, they all had bags under their eyes, a testament to the sleepless night they had spent worrying about Viktor's well-being.

But now, with Viktor awake and on the road to recovery, they all felt a glimmer of hope and a renewed sense of determination. They knew that they still had a long road ahead of them, with many challenges and dangers to face, but they were ready to face them together as a family.

As Amelia observed the exchange between Viktor and his parents, she couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth in her heart. Despite the stern expression on Ivan's face, there was no denying the love he had for his son. It was evident in the way he spoke to Viktor, with a firm but gentle tone, and the way he placed a reassuring hand on his son's shoulder.

Melina, on the other hand, wore a softer expression as she spoke to Viktor, her eyes filled with pride and admiration. She had always been a source of comfort and support for Viktor, and he looked up to her with the utmost respect.

As the conversation came to an end, Ivan and Melina bid farewell to their son and turned to leave. But before they could take a few steps, Viktor's face lit up with a sudden burst of happiness. He turned to Amelia, who had been watching from a distance, and gave her a warm smile, as if to say that everything was going to be okay.

The mid-afternoon sun streamed through the windows of the infirmary, casting a warm glow on the room. Viktor was feeling exhausted from the influx of visitors and well-wishers who had come to check on him. Fortunately, Lexie and Danil were on duty, effectively warding off any unwanted attention with Lexie's no-nonsense attitude. Even Harry and Dumbledore had paid a visit, adding a touch of whimsy with the Headmaster's fascination with sweets.

As visiting hours came to an end, Viktor felt a wave of relief wash over him. While he appreciated the support and presence of his fans and friends, he also recognized the importance of this moment for his recovery. Amelia had been by his side throughout, offering her unwavering support. However, he couldn't help but notice a lingering sadness in her eyes, which tugged at his heart.

Concerned, Viktor gently asked Amelia, "What's wrong, Amelia?"

Amelia hesitated at first, her gaze fixed on the floor. Then, she mustered the courage to sit on the chair beside his cot. "My... My Galdr ward didn't hold," she admitted, her voice tinged with regret. "You got hurt because of me. I'm so sorry, Viktor."
