Amelia and Viktor stepped out of the classroom to find Karkaroff and Safer waiting for them. Karkaroff wore a smug expression, clearly eager to test the effectiveness of the Galdr warding. "Only one way to find out if the ward works," he said, before quickly casting a curse at Viktor.

To Amelia's relief, the Galdr warding held strong, deflecting the curse with a shimmering shield of energy on Viktor's temporary rune staves. Karkaroff's smug expression faltered as he realized his curse had failed, but he quickly regained composure and exclaimed, "Excellent! Well done, Krum! Your training is paying off under my tutelage." Amelia couldn't help but roll her eyes at Karkaroff's narcissistic praise, but Safer merely looked on with a neutral expression, uninvolved in the altercation.

"Impressive, Hedström" Safer said, nodding his head in acknowledgement of the Galdr warding.

Amelia felt a sense of relief wash over her at Safer's words. She gave him a small smile and a nod of gratitude.

As the pair walked back towards their cabin, Viktor watched Amelia with a mix of admiration and longing. He felt a surge of tenderness that caught him off guard, as if something within him had stirred awake after a long slumber.

He walked her to the door and paused before leaning in to gently kiss her forehead, his hand lingering on her cheek for a moment before he stepped back with a respectful bow.

"Rest well, Zvezdno svetlina," he said softly. "Until tomorrow." With that, he turned and walked away, his heart heavy with the weight of his feelings for her.

As Viktor left, Amelia stood at the door of her cabin, feeling a warm blush spread across her cheeks. The kiss on her forehead had felt so intimate, so tender, and she couldn't help but feel her heart flutter at the gesture. She closed the door softly and leaned against it, taking a deep breath and feeling a sense of contentment wash over her.

Amelia's thoughts drifted to Viktor and the events of the day. She was grateful for his presence and support during the Galdr ritual, and the way he had respected her knowledge and skills. She felt a sense of connection with him that was deeper than just friendship, and she couldn't help but wonder if he felt the same way.

As she changed into her pajamas and crawled into bed, Amelia found herself replaying the moment when Viktor had kissed her forehead and his intense gaze.

She closed her eyes and smiled to herself, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation for what the future might hold between them.

At breakfast, the Hogwarts students were practically falling over themselves to catch Viktor's attention. Love letters and small presents were dropped onto his plate, and one particularly bold student even presented him with a box of sweets. Viktor couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed by all the attention, but he tried to keep a polite smile on his face.

Danil and Lexie couldn't resist teasing their friend a little, reaching over to grab some of the sweets without his permission. "These are delicious, Viktor," Lexie said, popping another one into her mouth.

Viktor chuckled and shook his head. "I see how it is, you're just using me for my sweets."

Amelia rolled her eyes at the spectacle, but couldn't help but feel a little jealous of all the attention Viktor was getting from the girls. She tried to push the feeling aside and focus on the conversation at hand. "It's like they've never seen a Quidditch star before," she muttered to Danil in Bulgarian.
