Six months have passed since Blackheart's defeat and Franklin's life seems to finally start to turn a new leaf. Franklin is no longer being chased down by police, due to Batman keeping his word about informing the GCPD of his innocence and with Batman's help, Franklin has bought a car repair shop and has gained quite the popularity.
On the downside though, he still keeps his distance from people, mostly because of the Spirit of Vengeance that inhabits his body, but also because he doesn't feel comfortable with human interaction just yet. The only ones that he talks to on occasion are Barbara and Kathy since they are now his girlfriends as they decided that they could share him. This has caused conflict with Nightwing, due to the fact that he once dated Barbara but had broken up a few years back. Despite the conflicts, Franklin still lives his life and has finally gained some peace after everything that he's been through. But things will soon start to change.
Franklin can be seen in his office inside his repair shop finishing up some paperwork. A knock is then heard from the office door and Franklin pulls his head up.
"Come in!" Franklin calls out.
The door then opens and from behind the door comes out one of Franklin's mechanics, a man named Robbie Reyes.

"You Clocking out Robbie?" Franklin asks.
"And to inform you that a Barbara Gordon is here to see you." Robbie informs.
"Send her in and have a good rest of your night Rob." Franklin says.
"Will do Mr. Blaze." Robbie says before leaving the office.
"Mr. Blaze. First time I've been called that." Franklin says to himself.
A minute or two goes by and Barbara can be seen coming through the door.
"Franklin." Barbara greets.
"Hey Barb. You can close the door." Franklin says.
Barbara then shuts the office door behind her and walks up to Franklin. They both then wrap their arms around each other's necks before sharing a kiss. A few seconds later, they release the kiss.
"How are you doing Barb?" Franklin asks.
"I've been doing well, considering what has been happening over the last few months." Barbara explains.
"Grayson still giving you a hard time?" Franklin asks.
"You know him. He always does." Barbara replies.
"Give it time. He'll come around. If not, I'll have to show him the Rider again." Franklin says.
"Well, let's hope it doesn't come to it." Barbara says.
Franklin and Barbara release their arms from each other as they then sit down.
"So, what brings you here? Need your motorcycle repaired?" Franklin asks.
