Back in Gotham, the batfamily can be seen flying the batwing above the city with Batman as the pilot.
"So what's the plan Bruce? You didn't really specify when you called in the batwing." Nightwing asks.
"We reach the cloud seeder, insert the antidote, and stop scarecrow." Batman explains.
Batwoman can be seen looking at a screen showing the view of one of the batwing's surveillance cameras.
"Approaching the seeder now." Batwoman says.
In short notice, the batwing slows in speed and stops to hover above the seeder as it continues to pour out fear toxin. Nightwings walks over to the hatch which opens to reveal the cloud seeder.
"Alright then. Now to just put in the antidote and hope we don't face any distractions." Nightwing says.
Suddenly, a missile hits the side of the batwing, causing it shake and Nightwing falls out of the hatch but manages to cling onto the hatch door.
"Nightwing!" Red Hood calls out.
Red Hood quickly rushes to the hatch and helps Nightwing back into the batwing.
"Engine two has been struck but remains stable." Batman says.
"If we get hit again, we'll be on the ground." Red Robin says.
"We've got company coming in from the east." Batwoman informs.
Batman looks to see a small fleet of three fighter jets heading in his direction. In the front flies a dark brown fighter jet with Scarecrow standing on top of the jet.
"You will know fear, Batman." Scarecrow says.
Batman looks back towards the rest of the batfamily.
"Scarecrow's on his way. Hang on!" Batman says.
Batman then accelerates the batwing and flies it away from the planes, the planes chasing them as a result.
"Ah, a good old game of cat and mouse. How fitting." Scarecrow says.
The jets then open fire their machine guns on the batwing which manages to sway to the left to avoid the bullets. The fighter jets then aim for the batwing again and Fire but the batwing performs a double spin and avoids the bullets again.
"Give it up Batman! You can't run from your fears!" Scarecrow calls out.
The fighter jet then fires two missiles which rapidly approach the batwing. Batwoman notices them through the cameras.
"Missiles approaching." Batwoman says.
"Not a problem." Damian says.
With the push of a button, two missiles fire away from the batwing and strike the opposing missiles, creating a large explosion as a result. Despite this, the fighter jets persist and continue the chase.
"We can't shake them. We need to down them." Red Robin says.
"Got any ideas?" Nightwing asks.
