Carly walked through the halls and made her way to her locker. Who did she find at Sam's locker? Freddie, of course.

"Hey Carly," said Freddie with a cheerful voice. "Alright I'm going to make my way to class, I love you," Freddie stated as he looked at Sam and placed a kiss on her lips.

"Love ya too," Sam said with a half smile.

Freddie wandered off down the hallways to his first-period class. Carly stared intently at Sam. Sam, who knew Carly was grilling her, made it a point to not look at her. She moved books and notepads around her locker to try and pass the time until she had to make her way to class. Time never moved so slowly, or at least it felt that way to Sam. Carly finally spoke up.

"Why did Freddie kiss you and tell you he loves you if you were supposed to break up with him last night, Sam?" Carly questioned in an angry and disappointed tone. Sam still tried to ignore her. "Don't make me say it again, Sam," Carly growled with her fists clenched tightly around her backpack straps. Sam could no longer avoid Carly. She finally turned towards her but still could not look her in the eyes.

With her eyes fixated on one of the blues tiles of the Ridgeway High School floor, Sam mumbled, "So I didn't break up with him last night."

"Yea, no chizz!" Carly shouted back without hesitation. "Sam, you can't keep dragging this on. It isn't fair to Freddie. It's going to hurt him but you need to rip the bandaid off and get it over with."

"I know, you're right," Sam responded, finally finding the courage to look at Carly. "But I-"

"You're not letting this go any longer, I will not allow it!" Carly snapped back.

"Okay, I'll break up with him after school today, right before we do iCarly." Sam reasoned, looking for Carly's approval.

"Right before iCarly? That's a terrible idea! You're going to ruin the show!" Carly exclaimed as she was now all fired up.

"You just told me to dump the boy, now you want me to stay with him, make up your mind crazy lady!" Sam rebutted, finally not feeling like she was the problem.

"Just do it after the show tonight, alright?" Carly asked. "He's going to be shocked and heartbroken and I wouldn't expect him to be able to hold it together for a whole episode of iCarly minutes after getting dumped. Do it after the show so he has at least some time to process everything."

Sam, finally realizing that she could not push this aside any longer, "Okay, I'll do it after the show. I promise Carls."

"Thanks, Sam. And if you want to talk about it, just know that I'm here for you," Carly reassured her.

Sam appreciated that. Carly was a great friend to her. She could always count on her. Her loyalty and motherly nature is part of the reason why she started to develop feelings for Carly.

With a smile, Carly suggested that she and Sam head over to their first-period class that they had together. Sam obliged, and the two went off to class.

In class, Carly sat in front of Sam and one desk over to the right. Sam could hardly pay attention in class as it was but with Carly in her line of sight, she was doomed for failure. She loved the way Carly looked when she was trying to focus. The squinting of her eyes when trying to read what the teacher wrote on the board. The way she so lightly touched her pencil to the paper, making sure every letter was perfect. It made Sam melt. Everything Carly did, she thought was so cute.

She spent the class staring at Carly and daydreaming about a life where she and Carly were more than best friends. A life that she wasn't sure if she'd ever get. The bell rang and interrupted her fantasy. Time for the next period, without Carly unfortunately.
