Chapter 3:ATHELIA

It has been a while since l parted ways with Ethan.l am now infront of the room  l was given.lt was on the sixteenth floor.lt was written in a golden cursive writing 254.

I opened the room it was a small apartment but very cosy and  beautiful.lt has 3 bedrooms .I walk in further and l am met by a large living room with comfortable couches and a large flat screen.

I am truly amazed by this room.It looks like a apartment.The only thing that isn't present is the kitchen.l guess we will be eating at the cafteria.

I went to open the first room.The room looked clean this person must be a neat freak ,but the room looked good,but in a chinese way.

I opened the other room it was a mess if you ask me.lt had clothes all over,but it was still pretty.

I opened the last door looks like this is my room.My luggage was placed near the bed.The room was pretty and spacious with a big window on the side and a comfy cream coloured couch was put near the window.

I want to finish packing earlier so l can have a lot of time to rest.l took out my clothes and put them in the walk in closet.lt was pretty large for my few  clothes.At the far end a uniform was hung.It was very beautiful.l went and touched it.The material was soft against my fingers.

It was a maroon soft cotton skirt.A white short sleeve blouse and a black blazer with silver buttons.Ethan had told me that we are allowed to wear any shoes as long as they were black.

I went back inside my room and flopped onto the bed.l am tired ,so l wore comfortable clothes then dozzed off.lt is around 2p.m.

I am woken up by laughter and loud music.l put my slippers on and followed the direction of the music.

When l arrived in the lounge.l was shocked to say the least.There stood two girls withwigs on.l guess the other  was supposed to be Jay Z and Beyonce they were singing drunk in love.

The one who is supppsed to be jay z was dancing on the sofa.l couldn't help myself l started laughing so hard that l ended up falling and slightly brusing my forehead.By the reduction of the noise l guess they had heard me.

I stood up smiled then waved a little at them.They returned the smile though shock and embarrassment was still written all over their face.

It was definitely an awkward moment.

"Hey guys l'm Athelia and l'm your new roommate its nice to meet you two".They removed their wigs.

"HEY Athelia l'm Natalie and this is Valerie we are very pleased to meet you"Natalie flashes me a pearly smile.

"Oh my word your pj's are cute where did you buy them WOMAN victoria secret where l love them can we exchange l will give you my other pair"Valerie exclaimed.

"Leave her alone Valerie you will scate her away.She seems nice enough l like her".She pulled me away from Valerie.

"So tell us where are you from and which family are you from ,you look gorgeous girl are you like a model or a famous influencer l think l have seen you somewhere."

I chuckle these girls were a handful.
"Okay chill l will answer you both
Firstly l'm from Newyork,l have no family and l live alone in a apartment there and l think you are mistaken Valerie l am neither famous,a model nor have we ever met l can assure you of that".

"But l swear l have seen you somewhere or you look like someone l know"she mumbles the last past.

For the rest of the night we chat about  our lives and everything and anything else.

I learned that Natalie was actually amongst one of the wealthiest families in our country.Her family has more authority more than the others.She said that her family owned  three quarters of the hospitals in the country and schools.She said being here in this school wasn't her choice sh never wanted to come here.She wanted to experience the public school rush.

Valerie was also wealthy but not that wealthy.Apparently they were old money and owned fashion lines.That's the reason why she was fashion crazed.l guess that messy room belonged to her.

We had chatted till one in the morning.l had dozzed off around 2 in the morning.

Now l was late for breakfast.
Natalie and Valerie had told me that we had breakfast at 7 am then classes began at 8 am and it was now 7:55am.Valerie had tried to wake me up a numerous times but l was still sleepy,so they had left without me.

I was still trying to put on my other doc martens.Whilst stuffing books in my backpack.

I had also stuffed a chocolate bar in my backpack .l quickly made my way to the classroom areas.

I made my way into the hallways of the classes.It was quiet,l guess the others were already in their lessons.

I didn't even have time to find my locker.I checked my schedule it said Mathematics room 156.l started running around the hallways looking for the classroom.After twenty tiring minutes.l finally found it.

Now only Ten minutes were left for the lesson.l was nervous as hell,but l might as well enter.

I opened the door and entered the classroom.

More than twenty pairs of eyes are looking at me like they are seeing a ghost or alien.

"I'm sorry sir for being late actually l am new here"l looked at the stout man.

"I'm letting you off the hook now because you are new buy next time don't come late to my class".l mentally rolled my eyes.

Me being early to a lesson might be a blessing because l'm a mess.

"Find an empty seat and sit down"Mr Davis says.

"Mr Davis let her introduce herself what's your name pretty girl"the boy says looking smug.

"Mind your own business Asher"Mr davis returns to writing whatever he was writing on the board.
I took my sit carefully not wanting to flash anyone.My school skirt was short.l felt self conscious.

They had taken wrong meaaurements length wise l am tall about 5'8 feet.

I took out my notebook only for the bell to ring and we made way to our next lesson.

While l was walking to my next lesson .l met Ethan on the way.

"Hey spongebob to my patrick"Ethan said putting his hand on my shoulder.

"Are you saying that you're patrick lol but you sure look and behave like him.l started laughing.

Ethan was now pouting."I thought l looked good though don't l sponge"

"You do look good but you my friend are a fool.l said and he laughed a little.

Ethan was really handsome l wonder why he was still talking to me a random nobody.

"Friends huh but l prefer the term bestfriend right.You Athelia,Yeah Athelia what"

"Delancy"

"Yeah Athelia Delancy you are now officially my bestfriend"he smiled softly the interlinked his hand with mine.

He left me at the door of my next lesson.Then went to his.
