-12:15 PM-

-School Cafeteria-

Jake took his phone out at the sound of notification after drying his hands.

Nara? Who's that?

He opened the message without a second thought. Little did he know he wasn't ready for what he was approaching.

He was sent a picture, a picture of Ye-eun and Sunghoon in a bar drinking wine. They were posing a little too close in the picture, their lips almost touching.

He knew it, right away, that it was fake. Not that the picture was poorly edited but the fact that he knows Sunghoon too well. His parents were always against it and he wouldn't dare to break that.

The caption stated that the picture was from 2020, the time when both were minors including himself. The editor of the picture even got the vibes right to match the year making it seem true.

That picture could lead to a huge controversy among people if it was released publicly, ruining both their lives. Especially Sunghoon since his life is more exposed to the media because of his career and his parents.

But there was an issue. Jake didn't know who this Nara girl was. He thought of a possibility that he might stop the start of a rumor if he'd confront her about it but it's not possible unless he knows who exactly sent him this.

The profile picture.

To his luck, her profile picture was her, in their school uniform. He recognised the girl a bit.

The one who seemed to bother Ye-eun.

Ye-eun didn't tell him about it but he knew that it was Nara after studying the way she acted around her. She for sure didn't seem comfortable around Nara.

He kept his phone back in his pocket and walked up to the table where he was previously seated putting on a smile so Ye-eun and Sunghoon wouldn't question him for his vexed look, which was how he felt.

"I'm sorry but I got caught up with something, I gotta go now, I'll meet up with you guys later"

"It's fine, see ya later!"

They waved at him as he took his belongings and left the cafeteria vanishing from their sights at an instant.

He went around the school in search of her, Kang Nara. He didn't know her so well but would be able to recognise her if he sees her.
He asked people in the corridors about her whereabouts.

"Hey have you seen...uhm... Kang Nara?"

"No, I haven't. Sorry"

"Why are you looking for her?"

"I don't know her"

Jake was frustrated by the replies. He should be quick in order to stop her from spreading the ruthless edit around.

He started running around which eventually led him to a small garden outside the school building but still inside the school campus.

There he saw a few girls grouping around an individual discussing something.
He went closer only to find out they weren't discussing, but gossiping.

Since he towered all the girls there, he had a glimpse of whom they neighboured.

I finally found you.
