【Ｃｈａｐｔｅｒ １２】

-School-

She turned around facing me while the teacher was busy.

"Good morning!"

She said with the sweetest smile ever.

"Oh, hi-"

I said making it obvious that I didn't know what to reply. She just stared at me confused, slightly pouting her lips.

"Good morning"

I replied, with a smile. She smiled too and turned back facing the teacher.

"Okay, all eyes on me, I'm going to start my lecture"

The teacher clapped twice gaining everyone's attention. Wow, powerful. It was history. My absolute enemy. I couldn't focus even if I wanted to since the teacher said she'd test us after ending this lecture. I mean, I tried, c'mon. My eyelids felt heavier than before. The power of history. I could feel myself dozing off when I felt a soft tap on my shoulder. I looked behind my shoulder to see Sunghoon trying to pass me a piece of paper. He pointed at Jake and mouthed the words 'It's from him'. I smiled avidly and took the piece of paper from him. I hid it under the page that the teacher was teaching and read it without getting caught.

'From Jake,
Hey there Ye-eun! This class is quite boring isn't it. It's hard to concentrate when my interest towards learning history right now is no more than 0. Anyways, that's why I decided to write you a letter, or a note? Let's call it a note since it's not big enough to pass as a letter. By the way are you free after school today? I wanna take you somewhere. Don't question me about it later on at school'

Where is he gonna take me-?

That was all I could think about after reading the note. I immediately tore a small bit of paper off my history book and started writing a reply.

'Yeah, I'm free after school today. Where do you wanna take me though? I'm curious- I have 0 level of patience. Please don't do something that'll trigger my curiosity until that'

I placed my pen back on the table and passed it to Sunghoon when the teacher wasn't looking telling him to pass it to Jake. I cracked up seeing Sunghoon glare at me annoyed.

"Now that I'm done teaching, it's time that I test you guys"

My smile dropped at an instant. I regretted not paying attention.

Let's just hope I don't get calle-

"Na Ye-eun"

Fuck.

"Yes mam?"

I stood up nervously.

"Which year did the world war 2 started and how long did it last?"

She questioned, obviously puzzling me up.

Lemme just give out a random answer-

"19-"

The teacher didn't take her eyes off of me waiting for me to finish my answer. I swear to god I'd have done a better job answering if she wasn't staring at me like that.
