【Ｃｈａｐｔｅｒ １６】

-5:15 PM-

-Chemistry Lab-

"Can I take you somewhere?"

He locked his eyes with mine.

"Where do you wanna take me?"

I asked him addled.

"Somewhere, that'd bring us peace, that'd take away our stress"

"O-okay-"

Such a place exists? In our school?

"Okay follow me"

He said, as he left the chemistry lab. I followed him, like an obedient child not knowing where he was leading me to. He was quite ahead of me already. I was slow company to him.

He stopped in his tracks waiting for me to match his pace. We were now next to each other walking till we arrived at that certain place.

After a long walk, we approached a half built building. The bricks were laid. The cement works were done. But the walls were still unbuilt. I was unsure of whether or not to step into that building.

Jake stepped into the building and signalled me to enter it too. I was contemplating when he held me hand assuring me to step in. I did so.

The stairs were built. We took the stairs and went to the floor below the last.

I stood there, amused. I never would've thought of a place with such a feel, such a vibe exists, in our school to be exact.

We could view the forest beside the school at ease from there. The unbuilt walls acted jointly with the astonishing view.

I barely made a comment for, let's say, 5 minutes. I took a moment to process the scenario and admire the beauty. It felt like everything I stressed about, every issue on my mind, just vanished into thin air. It really did feel calming as he said.

Jake tied his hand to his back, looking at me and back at the forest.

A wave of cool breeze brushed through us making everything a million times better. I didn't wanna leave it anytime soon.

"How do you feel?"

He said, not shifting his gaze away from the tall bright green trees.

"I feel....wonderful... I can't describe it with words, it's such a beautiful feeling"

I stated, making him giggle.

"Can we meet up here more often?"

I asked him, looking at him hoping for a positive answer.

"Of course, I'd love to"

"This could be our little place....."

".....a place only for us two"

We sat there on the floor, resting our heads on each other, admiring the beautiful view. Everything felt at ease in this beautiful place. It was like a haven, made for us two. I slid my hand, locating for his hand. Upon finding it I held his hand, gently caressing. He held my hand back, interlocking his fingers with mine.

"I love you Sim Jaeyun"

I murmured, intentionally so that he wouldn't hear.

"What did you say?"

He asked me, looking at me.

"Oh it's nothing"

I smiled and looked back at the forest.
