IT WAS ELEVEN FOURTH SEVEN PM on a Saturday night when Chad received a text from a very drunk Ethan.
Ethan had told him the previous day he'd be going out with Anika and Quinn for a couple of drinks. He knew it wouldnt end well if Ethan and the girls went out drinking. So when Ethan asked if he wanted to tag along he said he couldn't because of school work which wasn't a complete lie because he did have to catch up but mostly so he can be their designated driver.
As he was doing his work for his psychology class he received many messages from his boyfriend.
My boyfriend🫶 :

I love you so mych
What r you doing
Chads:
Ethan how much have you drank?
My boyfriend🫶:
Idk like a lot, Q and Anika are very persuasive.
But don't stress out about it my homie my bro my dude🫡
Chad:
I'm your boyfriend??
My boyfriend🫶:
Oh yeahhhh, send nudes? Please and thank you amigo
Chad:
Pardon me? And If anything I'll send you some money for a cab
My boyfriend🫶:

Chad:
Ethan send me your location right now

Chad:

Chad face palmed himself and let out a loud sigh, he doesn't know why he ever lets Ethan go out with those girls.
Chad:

Chad had finally convinced Ethan to send him his location and it was now 12:34 am, who knew it would take 30 fucking minutes to force the trio out of the bar and into his car. He probably looked really suspicious to any bystanders watching.
And it took forever to drive them home. He had to help quinn walk 3 flights stairs and knock repeatedly on the door waiting for Sam or Tara to open up which took a couple minutes since theyre heavy sleepers.
Anika was a little easier to get home but her whining was unbearable, her and Ethan being drunk besties was not a fun experience, there was a lot of laughing and yelling. thankfully when he got to the girls dorm parking lot, Mindy already outside waiting since Chad sent her a message saying that he was dropping off Anika.
And now Chad was making Ethan a hangover smoothie to make sure he's not a pain in his ass the next morning.
Ethan wiggled around the sofa as he waited for chad. Once he was done he handed Ethan the green smoothie.
"What the fuck is this horrid thing?" His words were slurred and he had a grim expression at the smell.
"This will help you feel better now drink up" Chad rubbed his shoulder as Ethan took a sip.
He immediately shot up from the sofa and stumbled to the sink to spit out whatever he just drank.
"This tastes like poison" he complained
"And how do you know what poison tastes like?" Chad asked slightly annoyed.
Ethan paused, "did you just admit to poisoning me?" He pointed at himself.
Chad ignored him and grabbed his hand "let's get you ready for bed, because I'm certainly tired"

Ethan sat on the bathroom counter with Chad holding his chin and brushing his teeth, telling him to spit out toothpaste whenever he saw he needed too.
"Chad I can brush my own teeth" Ethan complains watching his very concentrated boyfriend.
"You're drunk and I know how much you care about your dental hygiene"
"You're so good to me," he smiled "Oh, and sexy." He winked.
Chad splashed water on his face. "How drunk are you?"
"Not drunk enough."
"I disagree." Chad gave Ethan a glass of water to wash out the toothpaste in his mouth.
"Hey babe?" He spit out the water in the sink.
"Can I tell you something?" Chad nodded.
"Wait never mind I forgot"
He helped Ethan off the bathroom counter and lead him to their closet and gave him a pair of sweatpants and a shirt.
Once he changed, he guided Ethan to Chads bed and laid him down gently.
"I have the same hoodie", Ethan joked while pulling on the fabric of the hoodie Chad was wearing.
"Oh really? I stole it from my boyfriend", Chad jokingly whispered.
"I thought I was your boyfriend?" He giggled.
"I sure hope so, now go to bed. If you need anything just wake me up okay?"
Chad kissed his forehead and then made his way over to Ethan's bed.
"Where are you doing?" Ethan asked, genuinely confused.
"I'm sleeping on your bed, you're drunk, and I don't want to take advantage of that." Chad stated like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Ethan looked at him confused and sat up but oh boy, the after effects of drinking were affecting him sooner than he thought "You sleep next to me all the time, why wouldn't that be okay if I were drunk?"
"Because you're not in a place to give consent"
"Consent so you can sleep next to me? I'ts not sex Chad, you're my boyfriend." His words were a little slurred.
Chad looked at him weird.
Ethan gave a light hearted laugh, "Chad my sweet boy, you're allowed to sleep next to your boyfriend. Even if he's a litttlleeeee drunk" he used his thumb and pointer finger to indicate the 'little'.
Chad chuckled at his boyfriend and hesitantly laid down next to him. Ethan pulled the covers over his boyfriend and cuddled in to his chest.
"Glad you've decided to join" he smiled.
"Me too E, me too" Chad happily sighed next to his lover. "Sometimes I wonder if
you could've chosen someone better for you"
Ethan looked at him with soft eyes. "I could never." He ran his hands on chads stubble "no one will ever treat me the way you do."
"I love you" He said and Chad laid his head on Ethan's. "I love you more, now let's sleep, our alarm goes off at eight"
"You set an alarm that wakes me up at eight am on a weekend?" Ethan gasped "Set the alarm at a different time or I'll dump you" Ethan threatened.
Chad stared in to his boyfriend's eyes. "Emotional manipulation is not part of a healthy relationship, E."
"Neither is sleep deprivation, Chad."
"Fine." Chad mumbled while reaching over Ethan to adjust the alarm clock to nine on
Ethan's nightstand.
Ethan rolled to his left side and changed the alarm to 11:30 am, and then rolled back on to his right side and stuck his tongue out to
Chad.
Chad rolled his eyes and buried his head in Ethan's neck and they fell into a deep sleep.
