Keiton and Luca walk through the forest a while and spark some conversation along the way. As they get to know each other better they also talk about Pokémon battles after that incident with that Poocheyna.

(Luca) So about that battle with the Poochenya, I think we should go over some of the basics like knowing what my moves are.

(Keiton) Ok, so what moves do you know I would like to know since I didn't even know force palm was in your move set. If I recall correctly, you should be a fighting type or did I get that wrong. 

(Luca) Seems surprised that Keiton knew that she was a fighting type. Yep, that's right master and the moves I know are force palm, which you saw me use against the Poochenya. Umm let's see there's metal claw, endure, and quick attack. Those are the moves that I know at the moment.

(Keiton) Oh ok so what do those moves do exactly and how should you use them?

(Luca) So let's start with endure so let's say I'm about to faint in battle if I use that move, I protect myself from any damage and from fainting it's pretty handy if I'm in a tight spot. There's also metal claw which is a damage move but what's cool about it is that there's a small chance it buffs my attack really helpful if I'm weaker than my opponent. Last one is quick attack so basically with this move I run at really high speed to get the first attack before the opponent it's not as impressive but still pretty useful.  Luca let's out a really big smile while explaining this to Keiton.

(Keiton) Has a really confused look but is trying his best to understand. Ok so if the opponent uses something like metal claw but I have you use quick attack you'll get the first attack if you connect the hit?

(Luca) Looks really surprised that Keiton understood it already. Wow yea that's exactly right master but you also have to include the fact of the opponent using other moves to attack while I'm on the assault. So, tell me what should I do if I use quick attack against a stronger opponent while they use the move bite as a counter.

(Keiton) Thinks for a second then comes up with an answer. So, if the opponent is stronger and uses bite as a counter. Then you should dodge out of the way and follow up with a metal claw to deal damage and have the chance to buff your attack. Says with confusion and hopes he's thinking the right way about it.

(Luca) Has a shocked expression on how well Keiton answered the question. Yea that's exactly how you should do it. Good job master you answered a question that you should have known when you were 10.  says with a smirking expression as she said this to tease Keiton.

(Keiton) Gets a little upset at her remark but doesn't stay mad. You make me regret helping you but you're right I should've learned this when I was 10. I have no excuse for it I was just too much of a shut in and didn't want to leave home to the point where I missed out on some parts of life that was enjoyable.  He has his head down in disappointment and sadness.

(Luca) She notices Keiton put his head down and the expression he wears. I'm sorry for saying that it's not that big of a deal the important thing is you're experiencing it now right. Look at the bright side too you're now the master of a beautiful tall riolu. She tries to make him laugh seeing how down he got after she said that.

(Keiton) Cheers up a bit then let's out a small chuckle. Heh yea your right, about the tall part at least. Says this teasingly while letting out another chuckle.

Luca pouts for a second before lightly punching Keiton's arm. Keiton feels the impact of the punch and rubs his arm since he's experiencing little pain from it. Luca looks away still pouting but happy that Keiton's no longer upset. Her tail wags slightly at the thought that they are teasing and getting along with each other so well.
