My unexpected adventure

(mom) wake up the day is here you need to get up and get your things before I throw you out the damn house.  pulls blankets off.   get your ass up before I smack the shit out of you, I'm not going to say it again!

(Keiton) Aghh ok I'm getting up why are you so mad, I still need to get a Pokémon before I leave anyway so I can't just go on my adventure without one you got yours before you went out. anyway, can this wait till I get dressed so please get out so I can get dressed at least. Having you talk to me in my boxers is a little uncomfortable?

Keiton's mom leaves his room, as she did, he got up and scrounged around to find any sort of clothing to put on.  After he finds something to wear, he packs his things into a bag nothing more than a bedroll, two sets of clothes, and a love ball that he was given as a present from his grandmother for his birthday.

(Keiton) leaves his room and goes downstairs to his mom.  sooo, when do I get my Pokémon you're not going to send me out there without one are you?

(mom) As a matter of fact that's what I planned on doing you're 18 years old the only reason why I got a Pokémon when I left was because I was 10. If you encounter a wild Pokémon fight them your old enough to defend yourself so, get your stuff and go I'm not trying to be mean I love you and wish you the best but if I'm not hard on you right now you won't go on your adventure and experience life.

(Keiton) WHAT, you can't be serious you're not going to send me out there without a Pokémon you're joking this has to be a joke. Yea this is a joke you got me good now stop messing with me so where do I go to get my Pokémon, or do you have him or her can't say if it's a girl or not if I haven't met them yet.

Keiton's mom is clearly upset and pushes Keiton out the door without a second thought, Keiton on the other hand is confused and shocked about this and is still processing that she was actually serious about this.

(mom) Now get, don't come back unless you either 20, married, or won against the elite four and become champion. No offense sweetie but I think you have better chances becoming champion before getting married you don't seem the type to bone a random chick. Heck, you haven't even had a girlfriend yet. I mean you might have a chance with a Pokémon after they legalized human and Pokémon couples, but I swear to God if you come back with a pregnant Pokémon, I'll kick your ass!

(Keiton) MOM!!! I'm leaving just please don't say all of this outside where the neighbors can hear!  It's embarrassing and I would never fuck a Pokémon. 

(mom) Good now go before I get the broom and hit you till you do. slams door

Keiton stands in front of the house door shocked but somewhat relieved that his mom is ok with this but he's a little upset that he can't come back unless he does one of those conditions.

(Keiton) I guess I should just start walking to the next town or to the nearest town. pulls out phone to check maps. You can't be serious the next town is 35 miles from here! to make it worse I don't have a Pokémon yet. Whatever I guess I'll have to figure that out on the way? I do have the love ball grandma gave me so at least I can catch one but how am I going to do that. Ahh I'll just start walking if I cut through the forest, I can make it to the other town. Ok I can do this slaps face to pump himself up I can do this totally not afraid ok LET'S DO THIS.

(stranger) SHUT THE HELL UP JUST GO AND STOP BEING A PUSSY YOU'RE WAKING UP THE NIGHBORHOOD UP.

(Keiton) SORRY SIR, ok let's do this.

Keiton walks into the forest not knowing what awaits him will he succeed in catching a Pokémon or chicken out find out in chapter 2.
