Train, bus, or car rides are fun if it's raining and you have earphones and sad music from your phone. It's the perfect time to act like you're in a drama or a music video. Then when you really get into the music and you're full-out mouthing the words to the rain outside the window, you are living life, and I'm proud of you.

Unfortunately, I was sitting away from the window, because the sun was shining really brightly, for some goddamned reason, and what makes it worse is that it directly hits me. I've never been a fan of hot weather, so that's what I didn't miss in living in the Philippines. I get extremely warm too easily. Additionally, my phone is close to dying on me and I left my earphones in my room accidentally. I can't even sit properly because the seat was uncomfortable. I'm just really happy that this was just a short trip.

In the end, I got to Dan and Phil's place in 30 minutes. It might sound like quite a long time, but I blame it on traffic and my "people-watching".

I swear, I'm not a stalker.

I arrived at their door and knocked. Then I knocked again. And again. And again. And again. No one was replying. I kept on knocking though. It got to the point when I was knocking the 'Anna-way' and started singing Do You Wanna Build A Snowman? even though I'm not a fan of Frozen that much and probably kept messing up the lyrics.

Halfway through the song, a nice-looking lady, who I assumed is a neighbour of Dan and Phil, opened her door and looked at me weirdly. I don't blame her, I would probably look weirdly at an adult who was sitting in front of the door, singing Frozen songs and continuously knocking on the door, causing me to wonder what the noise was.

But I swear, I'm not a stalker.

She looked at me then probably realised why I was there. "Are you going to see the lads who live in there?" She inquires. After nodding, she made a 'Tsk' sound then shook her head and explained some things to me, "You probably should have called them, they just left the house a few minutes ago and I don't think they'll be back soon enough."

I sighed, thanked her, then left. I could have waited, but how long? What if I stayed there and they were actually going back tomorrow? It's like that moment when you're waiting for the bus, but you have to go to the toilet, which is just really near. What if the bus comes by while you leave? But then you wait for a long time and realise that in the time that you waited you could have actually gone to the toilet and you regret it. So in the end, you just give up and walk all the way home and die of exhaustion.

I got on a taxi or a cab or whatever you call it, then rode back home. The driver was the silent type, which was fine for me because the radio was playing anyways. But when a One Direction song came up, the driver shifted uncomfortably and asked me if he could change the station.

"It's just that, my daughter listens to this everyday..." "Oh yeah, of course. It's fine." I replied. Even though I was singing along to the song in my head already. He switched the station and

"---again! Why do you keep winning?" Phil's voice complained on the radio. "Because... I'm awesome?" Dan chuckled in reply, before playing a bunch of random sounds.

Holy shît, how could I be so stupid? I forgot they had a radio show today.

"So, now we are going to go on Twitter for some of your song requests, because we're such nice people and we have Twitter and a bunch of songs, so why not?" And as fast as I could, I took my phone out and started opening Twitter. I'm really happy I brought my pocket wifi. It makes everything much faster and easier since I'm the only one connected.
