dear diary,
remember when i said i was going out to buy new clothes yesterday? well i did, and met someone on my way there.
i was walking quite fast, not looking where i was going, and them bumped into someone else.
"oh my goodness, i'm so sorry!" i said.
"that's okay, don't apologize!"
hmm, an australian accent.
i looked up to see a very pretty blonde haired girl. she looked korean like me, so she must have dyed her hair. she helped me up.
"uh... hi," i said. "my name is kim jisoo... what about you?"
"i'm roseanne park, but you can call me rosé! i've just moved here from australia with my parents."
"oh, that explains your accent then!"
"yep!"
turns out rosé was walking to the same store as i was, so we walked together.
we both purchased some clothes and i arrived at my house.
"oh, is this where you live?" rosé asked me.
"yeah!"
"that's so handy! i live just 7 houses down!"
"oh, that's great!"
i actually invited rosé in after that, and she accepted. we both went inside and up to my room so i could put my new clothes away, then we both sat on my bed.
"hey, there's another bed here. does someone else live here?" she asked.
the smile faded off my face.
"hey, jisoo, are you okay?"
"yeah... you're right, rosé, someone else did used to live here. my girlfriend, jennie. she just moved out."
rosé looked behind me and saw the the framed photo of me and jennie on my bedside.
"is... that her?" she asked.
"yeah... turns out she was cheating on me though... with a thai girl named lisa..." i replied.
"i'm so sorry jisoo. you didn't deserve that, you're a wonderful person."
"thank you rosé, you too." i smiled, and she smiled back.
we ended up talking for ages, until rosé got a text from her father telling her she had to return home.
"i gotta go jisoo, it's dark and my father wants me back but it's nice to have made a friend!"
before she left, we gave each other are numbers so we could text. we then said our goodbyes and she left.
i'm so glad to have met rosé, i'm sure she'll turn out to be an amazing friend of mine!
