Felida pov

We had been walking for almost an Hour now and still now town. But that was more than ok, Earidin was voicing his thought in what was in the cave, something I quit lisrning to a long time ago, I just enjoyed the sound of his voice and the way it reverberated as he spoke. I was leaned against his neck getting the full sensation of it. Then it stopped, I looked up and my ranger was staring at a cave. Not the one we were looking for but in the inside we could hear faint war cries, and was that an explosion?

"what do.you think little one, should we make a pit stop?" I slid down into my room and closed the door. "Ok now you can go see!" I yelled out, then opened my peep hole to watch what was going on.

I drew my sword and entered it was dark but Felida lit up my lantern for me it was nothing special just a bunch of rock but it led back much farther. I followed the sounds, it was no doubt someone was fighting, a roar sounded then s large thump, the battle cries stopped, I know that sound though. Who was dumb enough to fight a troll alone? Or maybe their just crazy. I moved closer anyways whoever it was needed help. Badly. I turned a corner a. Could not believe my eyes. Four trolls surrounded a crumpled ball of fabric and another lay dead on the ground. It's not that he killed one that amazed me but that he killed one while holding the other four off.

They noticed me. Turning slowly they eyed me, one of them let out a loud and deep roar, whatve I got myself into? I sheathed my sword and pulled my bow not giving the a chance to study me, I sent the first arrow flying into the largest ones eye. It fell without a fuss. The other three however charged me. Full force.

I notched another arrow and rolled out of the way making two hit each other, the third stopped and swung at me I rolled again and looses another arrow missing by mere inches. His hand came back and swatted me. I hit the wall hard, felidas gonna kill me with all the tunneling I'm doing. Two rolls and a sudden stop oh yea, she's shaken up by now.

I stood slowely my bow was broke. I drew the sword again, the other two were still a bit dazed but the other was charging me. I jumped as high as possible off the wall and lunged at the troll. It tried to grab Me unsuccessfully, my sword plunged deep into its chest. It let out a roar of psi. As it fell to the ground. Great, only two left.

Felida pov

I rose from the floor, good thing it's padded well or I'd be black and blue right now. Note to self dont let my ranger fight trolls ever again.

I looked through the slot again, though wish I hadn't haves now charging towards two of them. I ran to my chair and held on with all my might. I am glad I did that cause as soon as I was in it another jolt came threatening to throw me into a wall again. Maybe the next cave I'll just walk through. Again I was almost thrown forward as I'm guessing he got hit, again. I hope he has a few bruises. It'll teach him not to to for a group of bigger and stronger opponent.....yea right. He's never back From a challenge, the honorbound bastard.

"you can come out now little one." He sounded hurt. Oh whyed I have to wish him hurt. Now I feel terrible. I poked my head out the door it was all clear. "are you ok?" He asked as I climbed to his shoulder so I could inspect his damages.

"no more troll fighting. Your too reckless with it." I could feel his should had been popped out of place. "now ram that wall." I pointed to the nearest wall of rock, that'd pop it back I know.

"Now why would I do that?"

"because the sooner you do it the less pain you'll get trying to pop this back into place." I stomped down on his shoulder making him wince in pain. Not what I was trying to do but I think he got the point cause he moved to it. I slid back into my room and waited. A few seconds later I felt the slam and heard the cry of pain. I was instantly on his shoulder pouring in energy to lessen his pain. " are you ok?"

"yea I think so." He said it through gritted teeth, my powers too weak to help much with this big a wound.

The bundle of cloth stirred. My rangers sword was unsheathed in an instant and his hand cupped me protecively. The cloth turned out to be a man. A mage, I could feel the power he exhaled, and he was very powerful.

" are you ok?" I asked from my protected position. He looked at us not fully comprehending what I had said.

"He said I wouldn't have any trouble. He said there was only one."

My ranger took a step forward laying me inside my room, I left the door open. I could feel this man was a bit off but he had no bad intentions toward us.

My ranger spoke. "what are you doing down here?" This time he was fully aware, he must have regained his head.
"Err, might we speak outside? In the light?" He looked pointedly at my ranger.

"come on then, its this way." We turned and moved. Toward the exit. When we got outside the man relaxed. " now, what were you doing down there?"

"I needed a troll tear.I've made a potion that will give you extra power for a time. But you need troll tears for that." He looked at me. "I dont suppose I could borrow a bit of your dust?"

"I have no more to give." I bowed my head in shame. A fairy with no dust, it only happened those that have been touched on the wings with unclean hands.

"Well that's alright, there's plenty more things I could use." He began walking.

" We should ask him a bot the cave." I whispered to my ranger. He nodded in agreement.

"Sir. Might I ask you a question?"

He didn't stop. "only if you walk with me." There was no hesitation, we were on his heels in seconds.

"In looking for a cave, it has a golden scepter encased in two rocks."

"I know of what you speak. Are you trying to restore the fairies wing?"

It was my turn to speak now. " What do you mean? My wing can't be fixed."

He laughed at my words. "If you go to this cave, and make it through its trials. You'll have the power to restore it. Bring me the sceptor from inside and I will show you."
