The Painful Goodbye Of Love

"This marriage can't happen."

The voice of an unknown person halted Suhan's steps. Everyone present looked at the source of the voice. A girl was standing there with anger, pain, and betrayal holding her face. Tears trailing down her cheeks, showcasing her pain to the world.

The girl's eyes were piercing Devansh Raghuvanshi who was about to take wedding vows with Suhana Singhania.

"Kritika"

Devansh breathed out her name in a mere whisper, looking at her. His body shivered in dread feeling thinking about the consequences of her presence here. His heart thumped against his chest with anticipation. 

Everyone's eyes crinled at the girl standing there.

"And who are you to tell this??"

Harshvardhan Raghuvanshi, the eldest member of the Raghuvanshi family, snapped his question at the unknown girl, who ignored him and walked over to Devansh, with threatening steps. 

Suhana eyed her every step, cautionsly till she reached Devansh, standing in front of him.

"How dare you marry another girl after impregnating me??"

The unknown girl yelled at  Devansh with anger dripping from her mouth. Her words were enough for everyone to gasp in astonishment. Chaos started around the hall.

After the typical aunty who was present there started whispering awful things about Suhana, penetrating her heart with the sharpness of their words. 

"You traitor. How dare you betray me?? Now here you are getting married to her and will destroy her life too."

Tears left her eyes, but the inferno of rage was burning inside the girl, wishing to burn him in its flame. 

Suhana looked at them with tears pooling in her eyes while her heart pounded loudly against her ribcage. Her dream was turning into a worst nightmare. Fisting her hand tightly on the side of the lehenga, she controls the sober resting on her lips. 

"What are you speaking about??"

It was Siddharth Singhania who voiced his question. He was getting angry because of this unknown girl who was ready to break his sister's heart and he could die before letting a single scratch hurt his sister. 

Kritika looked at everyone and then turned towards Devansh. Holding his collar, she drags him down from the mandap and makes him stand in front of his family.

"Now will you tell the truth, or I shall do it for you, Mr. Raghuvanshi??"

The girl growled at him and demanded the truth. Devansh looked at his Dadu and Dad who were desperate to know the truth along with other family members.

"D..dad ...she ...is ..m ..my ...gir.. girlfriend...kr.. kritika.."

Loud stinging voices boom around. Devansh's face fell sideways as a tight slap landed on his face by Siddharth.

"Girlfriend?? What the hell are you saying? You are telling this girl as your girlfriend then why are you sitting here with my sister??"

He yelled at his face. Devansh squints his eyes before opening it with guilt. Siddharth left him and ran his fingers inside his hair to control his anger.

"Devansh if she is your girlfriend. Then why are you sitting here with Suhana??"

Adhiraj demanded the answer from his son who looked at him with shame and guilt. Devansh's silence was killing Harshvardhan's patience level and finally, he bristled with anger.
