The Painful Goodbye Of Love

"We can't hide this from her."

Suhana opened her eyes hearing Samira's words. She distances herself from Rudraksh and looks at her with confusion.

"What are you talking about Samira?? What should I know??"

She questioned everyone who was trying hard not to cry in front of her.

"Buttercup, she is talking rubbish, don't listen to her."

Rudraksh tried to get her attention but again Samira cut his words.

"Rudraksh is her life; you can't hide this from her. She has the right to know about her..."

"Samira, just shut your mouth or it will not be good."

He threatened with burning eyes while Suhana was looking at them with thinned eyebrows.

"Why are you trying to stop her?? Let her speak. I want to know what you all are hiding from me, and no one will dare to stop her."

Everyone's mouth got sealed hearing her voice which was filled with authority.

"Suhana just listen to me..."

"Truth."

She eyed everyone who was just standing there in tears.

"You are suffering from Hodgkin's lymphoma, and you have one year left to live."

As soon as Samira finished her words, the room fell silent. Rudraksh eyes got closed and he cursed his friend for saying this.

"Suhana, you are strong. Nothing will happen to you. You are not going anywhere. You will fight against this disease, and you will be okay soon."

He finished his words and waited for her to say anything with her face devoid of emotions and it was breaking his heart. He can't lose her before losing her.

"Samira, will I survive??"

Hearing her question everyone's heart bleeds and no one couldn't control their tears anymore.

"I can't say anything. There is very little chance of your survival but..."

Samira couldn't complete her sentence. She wasn't getting the correct words to say her sentence.

"Suhana nothing will happen to you. We all are with you, and you will be fine."

"What if I didn't survive??"

The room fell silent. Rudraksh heart clenched just thinking about her words. He looked at her face with tears, but her face was devoid of emotions. The silence was broken by one's cry.

It was Sameer who broke into tears as he couldn't control anymore. Suhana's eyes averted to him, and her face sadden looking at his red face.

"Sameer."

Minakshi hugged her son and consoled him while seeing him. Kajal couldn't even control her sobs.

"Bhabhi..you..can't leave me. You promised me to be on my side forever. You can't leave me.."

Sameer walked to her while saying the words. His red was swollen with redness over his face. He bites his lips to control his tears, but he burst into tears seeing her giving him smile.

"Why are you smiling??"

He asked and sat beside her and held her hand. Suhana can feel his shivering hands wrapped around her giving her warmth.

"I will not break my promise. I was on your side and will always be on your side. I ma.may..leave..th..this world but not your side."

Gulping the lump formed inside her throat she said. It was difficult for her thinking that how will her family survive without her.
