The Painful Goodbye Of Love

"Why are you awake so early??"

Rudraksh asked as he saw Suhana waking up. He forcefully made her sleep after giving the medicine. Suhana stood on her feet and left the bed.

"I am not feeling sleepy now. I am fine."

He nods his head at her and then continues to do this work. He has taken a holiday to take care of his wife who doesn't want him to stay home because of her. But he didn't listen and decided to work from home.

"Buttercup do you need anything??"

He questioned while still typing on the laptop.

"Can you stop calling me by this name??"

Her heart skipped a beat hearing this name, and she want him to stop calling her.

"Why buttercup?? Didn't you like me calling you by this name??"

Her mouth got sealed. It would be a lie if she agreed with it because she was liking the name given by him.

"Where are you lost??"

Her head jerked to him, and she shook her head and left the room while he kept looking at her. Shaking his head, he tried to concentrate on his work. But he left the room because she had taken a longer time than usual, so he decided to go and check on her.

He was descending the stairs when he heard Devansh's voice.

"Suhanaa."

Hearing his wife's name, he ran inside the kitchen following the voice. As he reached there, he saw Suhana lying on the floor and Devansh was sprinkling some water on her face. He ran to her.

"Buttercup opens your eyes. "

He tried to wake her up, but she wasn't. His heartbeat was running, and he felt that it would crumble anytime soon. Carrying her in his arms he made his way to their room while Devansh called the doctor.

"Buttercup please open your eyes."

Devansh saw his brother who was panicking seeing Suhana's condition. Rudraksh's breath has turned heavy, and his face has reddened. He was rubbing her hands thinking it might make her wake. Tears glister in his eyes and his small whisper left his mouth.

"Please buttercup. Wake up. You are scaring me."

"Bhai doctor has arrived."

He looked toward the doctor and spoke.

"Doctor, please look at her. Why is she not opening her eyes?? I am trying but..."

"Let me check."

Doctor said seeing his panic state. His whole body was redden thinking about what was happening to her.

"It was just a mild fever than why she fainted??"

He kept thinking while looking at her face which had turned slightly pale. His heart crushed seeing her closed eyes and finally tears slipped his eyes because it has been an hour since she has opened her eyes.

"See. I can't say anything now. The reason for her fainting is unknown but I have given her some medicine and if this happens again, I will suggest a few tests."

His heart pounds inside his ribs feeling unknown fear. He nodded at the doctor and sat beside Suhana with his hand in her. While Devansh left the room with the doctor.

"Please buttercup, open your eyes and look into mine. You are okay I know and soon you will be okay, and nothing will happen to you. I am with you."

He doesn't know why his heart is feeling that her fainting is not a good sign, and something is going to happen. He wants to erase this thought, but they have just consumed his mind fully.
