Rudraksh's eyes fluttered before opening. Squinting his eyes for a brief moment he opened them only to come across the most beautiful face. His wife was sleeping while her face was buried in his chest.

He felt the urge to push the hair falling on her face with his hands. Lifting his hands, he moved her hair away while a smile curved his lips seeing her face but soon it vanished.

He traced her cheeks with thumb and then under her eyes.

She was looking paler than before. Dark patches were sleeping under her eyes. Tension lines were formed on her face. It was like she was tired. Very much. He felt her breathing heavier.

Feeling feathering feeling on her cheeks, her eyes fluttered before opening and looking at her husband. He observed her as she was getting difficult to even open her eyes. Her eyes were feeling heavy.

"Are you okay??"

His worried voice rolled into her ears. Suhana nodded her head while still closing her eyes.

"I am feeling tired."

Her voice was inaudible to him. Fear and worry crawled into his body. He hugged her and cared for her back. His own heartbeat faster than the fan above them.

"Suhana."

He whispers her name while she keeps hearing his heartbeat. Uneasiness spread inside him. Suddenly he felt her body with high temperature.

"You are having a fever."

He said in a hurried voice while looking at her. Fighting with his fear he whispers.

"Buttercup, please open your eyes and look at me."

His pleading gave her courage to open her eyes. Her eyes were bloodshot due to fatigue she was feeling in her every cell.

"Wait, I will call the doctor."

Saying this he left her in the bed and called the doctor. Coming back, he saw her sleeping. Tears glister his eye corners but gulping the lump he moved to her and sat beside her.

"Nothing will happen to her."

He said inside his head but restless was all he felt. Soon the door of their room opened and all the family members with the doctor came inside.

"Rudraksh what happened??"

Harshvardhan asked and everyone's eyes saw Suhana sleeping with a pale face which was red due to the high fever.

"What happened to her??"

Laxmi asked while Rudraksh was looking at her face.

"Please let me see her."

Rudraksh's friend Dr. Samira came and examined Suhana who was sleeping while closing her eyes.

"She is sleeping because of fatigue. But I want you to come with her to my hospital so we can do some tests. She has fainted 5 times and I think we need to do a test as soon as possible."

Hearing her words, fear crept inside him while his hold on her hand tightened around fingers.

"Samira beta is Suhana, okay??"

Adhiraj said in a worried tone looking at his daughter in law.

"Uncle, I can't say anything now. We have to do some tests before getting to any conclusion."

Samira left while others surrounded the couple.

"Why is this happening to her only??"

Amrita said while caring Suhana's head with love.
