The Word "No"

Megan POV

The front doors bursted open as we walked through. I did my best to keep up with him as he began calling out the things we missed on our check list.

Trey: hours?"

Me: 24."

Trey: reports?"

Me: No market reports while we were gone."

Trey: money?"

Me: deposited."

Trey: ego check?" he smirked. I placed my iPad down as I rolled my eyes.

Me: No, it blew up due to too much inflation." I teased as he turned to me.

Grabbing the sides of my face, his kiss made me blush as we were finally back at work. Those 2 days really felt like forever and being back in the office with my girls and with the boys, it felt more home then home did.

Trey: my ego could never inflate. I'm to fly." he said. Kissing my lips again, the sound of someone clearing their throats made us pull away.

Marcellious: y'all ain't get enough of that when y'all dipped?" he hated as Trey sucked his teeth.

Trey: Na, I can never get enough." he said as I blushed.

Marcellious: I see." he laughed.

Marcellious: but I am glad that you are back, I was able to arrange Megan's charity event." he said as I gasped.

Me: really??"

Marcellios: Yes, while you guys were gone Trey had me and Bleu set everything up. He gave us all the resources we needed." he said as I turned to him.

Trey: I figured you could use some good news." he said as I smiled.

Me: so when is it?"

Marcellious: tomorrow." he said casually.

Me: huh?"

Marcellious: It's tomorrow." he repeated.

Marcellious:..tomorrow as in Saturday-."

Me: I know what you mean by tomorrow!" I snipped sucking my teeth.

Marcellious: then what is wrong?"

Me: why tomorrow Cellious? I just got back." I whined.

Marcellious: well tomorrow was aligned with everyone's schedule Meg." he said as I sighed.

Marcellious: that was when everyone could afford to make it." he said. I sighed once again, feeling more stress on my shoulders now.

Even though they planned everything, I still had my own organization and marketing things to do for it, it was my charity event for crying out loud.

Marcelliosu:..do you want me to cancel-."

Me: No." I stopped.

Me: No." I repeated.

Me: it is just a few things I have to do to make sure they are done before the event." I said a little stressed.

Marcellious: I can always move it back-."

Me: No Cellious, No." I stopped.

Me: I can..figure something out." I said. Opening up my iPad, I saw that I had things to do up until 7pm. Shaking my head slightly, I closed it as I looked up.

Me: I will have everything done." I said.

Trey: when can you get started on it?"

Me: after I finish everything I missed organizing for you while we were out of town." I said.
