Megan POV

..The silk bed I was laying on felt good against my aching skin as I felt the stiffness between my legs. I felt like I was floating on a cloud of coke 9, while dazzling in a puddle of pain.

Everything seemed to come back to me, my hearing, my smell, my taste, my sight. Everything that was stolen from me when I let go came back.

Behind my closed eyes, the reminiscing sound of Kylie's cries made me smile as I rubbed my hand over my flat belly.

Shooting my eyes wide, I sat straight up as I yanked the covers off of me. Staring at my body minus one, a whining sound in the corner of my room caught my attention. It was a cradle, barricaded heavily as a small person laid inside of it.

Gulping to myself, I slid out of bed carefully.

Ignoring the hindering pain in my uterus, I inched my way over to the tiny human in my room...

Hovering over her cradle, I was afraid to look at her. I was afraid to accept that she was here at first..her little hands tucked under chin..

..Her pretty and full head of hair neatly wrapped around her head. Her perfect..everything, there was nothing imperfect about Kylie Eloise.

I didn't even know I was crying as a tear fell into her cradle with her. They raced down my face as I slowly leaned down to pick her up, holding her with care she whined as I held her up in front of me.

Her eyes fluttered opened like mine do, focusing her stare on me as I smiled through my tears.

Me:..Hi.." I cooed as she looked at me. It was like she was trying to figure out my face, trying her hardest to understand who I was to her.

Me: It's me, mommy." I whispered as she narrowed with me. A giggling smile came across her face as she finally realized me. Her little feet kicked in the air as I laughed easily.

Me: Hi baby girl.." I loved as she squealed. She squirmed like a perfect little worm in my hands as I carefully cradled her in my arms.

Keeping her head secured, my tears never stopped as I began to rock back and forth with her. Seeing her now, everything I went through to get her here became worth it.

The pain, the crying, the screaming, the fear, everything was worth it now that she was actually here.

Her smile even in the darkness of my room radiated as more of my tears dropped onto her shirt.

Me: It took a lot to get you here." I teased as she smiled as if she knew what I was saying.

Me: I would do it all again.." I whispered to her. Kissing her cheek softly, the door opened as a random woman stood at the entrance.

Holding Kylie closer to me, I frowned as I watched her turn the lamp on. The light shined on her face making me notice that it was the nurse who annoyed me during my birth.

Fiddling her fingers she stood there nervously.

Nurse:..I am glad to see you are up, you look well." she said as I looked her up and down.

Me: thanks.." I mumbled. She smiled briefly at Kylie in my arms before opening a mini fridge on the floor.

Nurse: she has been waiting to meet you, she's been very antsy." she said, grabbing a bottle as I glared at her.

Nurse: Trey was not sure when you would be up to breastfeed so we made some bottles for her until then." she acted like she knew everything.

I watched as she walked around the room, placing a blanket over her shoulder and coming over to me and my daughter.
