The old man releases me from the ropes and proceeds to drag me to the armory.

The armory was right beside the smithing station, where a blacksmith was making weapons and tools at the side.

Upon reaching the armory he kicked me in the butt, asking me to choose a weapon inside.

"Better pick something that can last you a while."

Slightly curious about what he said.

I walked around the armory checking the different weapons.

There were a lot of varieties, ranging from Long Swords, Great Swords to Longbows, Crossbows as well as spears.

There are honestly enough weapons here to start a war

There were also a couple of armors parts and shields as well.

I took a long look to decide since he did mention something that would last me a while, maybe something sturdy? As I was still thinking about what he said, the old man just stood there and watch which weapon I was picking with a hint of curiosity.

[The Old Man's POV]

As one of the strongest humans to ever live on this planet, I have made use of my strength and power through the years, obtaining what I wanted.

The end result turned out to be the country of Mydarn which I named after my mother.

It's been years since anyone challenged my position or anyone who wanted to challenge me.

They deemed that I was the strongest and just stopped trying.

Even hunting the monsters had started becoming a chore to me.

My age has also started to catch up with me a while ago.

Thus I wanted to pass on whatever skill I had learned over the years to another person but, not one of them showed any promises.

The kids have all grown up to idolize one of the other hunters that saved the country. But even that hunter is too weak in my opinion.

So when an outsider came from nowhere appears and had the guts to say that he came from another world while I was releasing bloodlust. It got my attention.

Now, Let's see how many promises you can show me.

Starting from your weapon choices.

[Red's POV]

Something study and would last me a while. Hmm.

While Ryong is sleeping, Looks like I would make a decision myself.

For Defence wise:

I picked an ordinary small round shield, that looks sturdy.

I also picked up on a couple of armor parts like greaves, chest plates, and gauntlets. I made sure they are all light as well cause I hate feeling like something is dragging my feet when I run or fight.

I also picked up a helmet. It looked like something out of Dungeons and Dragon, but I think the protection might help.

For Offence wise:

I picked up a longsword. After fighting Lee Jeong-Hun and the Imoogi, I realized I needed a bladed weapon that can slash and cut. As much as Combo-Maker is an excellent weapon, there are a couple of situations where a sword would have been useful.

I picked up a dagger as well. After hearing about how Lee Jeong-Hun fought me using a dagger as well, I predicted that there were some parts using a sword is not as efficient as a dagger and this would give me an edge in close-range combat.

After the selection of the item. I wore them and headed and report to the old man

[The Old Man's POV]

Hmm, at least he was able to equip himself nicely for battle.

But there are a couple of issues. The equipment that he equipped might be well-balanced but they are mostly for an opponent either the same size or slightly bigger.

If it was to hunt the monsters down, it might be challenging.

I was going to send him to slay some of the pests the town has been having, but I changed my mind.

I wanna see whether he can offer some challenges to me.

"Let's get you tested. Follow me."

I brought him all the way to where the training ground is held. I've asked my men to keep my identity hidden from the Outsiders just in case as well.

"Wait there, while I equipped myself."

I went to the changing room, having one of my attendees bring my sword over.

As I changed into one of my armor used for hunting. I stepped out of the Changing room and peeked through the Outsider.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. Now let's have some fun, shall we."

[Red's POV]

God damn. The old man came out from the back of the training room with a full set of heavy armor.

The armor is made from materials of a beast, that I can only assume is a bear.

The armor was brown in color.

It has a coat that was made with chain mail and the fur of the beast around his neck. The chestplate was thick and the armor portion was covered fully in chain mail from top to bottom.

It had shoulder plates, gauntlets, greaves, and boots for extra protection. With the Old Man being so tall, It seemed as if the old man himself was the beast with that armor on as he emitted more bloodlust toward me.

He slowly makes his way to the center of the training ground and said:

"Out."

All the Hunters and guards who were using the equipment stopped what they are doing immediately and left for the nearest seats available to watch what the old man is doing.

Suddenly someone kneeled before the old man and pass a Greatsword over to him.

The Greatsword is at least the same height, if not

taller than the Old Man. It's made with parts of a beast's bones fused with metal. The hilt of the sword had a Ring attached with a piece of cloth to it and the blade itself had a curve with some sort of wordings across the blade.

It looked like a sword out of a video game.

He took the sword and stab it into the ground, creating a cracked floor looking as if a crater smashed it.

"Isn't it a bit tad unfair?" As I asked him, looking at my own armor and comparing it to his.

He gave a hearty laugh, saying "Nope. Now are you ready?"

As he lifts his sword up, placing it on his shoulder,

using his finger to taunt me to come over.

I picked up the sheath of my long sword and prepared myself.

"Ryong, you awake to help?"

[Let's see how long thou can last against this monster.]
