Some time has passed since the war ended, Jay and his family took their time to adjust back into both civilian life and Jedi life. Some times, Jay would check in on Mace, asking how is he doin. Shizuka said Mace has recovered well and is in middle of training, having been given a training regimen. Once Mace returned home, a new man, Jay and his family took him out to dinner to celebrate. A week later, Jay and his family traveled the world and saw many wonder sites along the way.

The first place they visited was in Japan, visiting Shizuka at work at Tokyo Disneyland. Then, they traveled to other countries like Germany, later England, Russia, Spain, France, Egypt, Ireland & back in America, visiting many famous national parks and theme parks. Once they finished, they settled down back in Washington, back in the Jedi Temple. While visiting the parks, kids walked up to see the aging Jedi Master. He took his time to speak with youngsters about his life during the Clone War and the Galactic Civil War. Many of the kids, and Younglings and Padawans, called him "The Jedi General.". His participation in Veteran activates gave him much satisfaction. He attended nearly every reunion with his troops of the 1st Pennsylvania, the Lost Regiment and 76th Legion and kept in touch his brothers and sisters in arms. The greatest legacy was his name. Many of the troops who fought alongside Jay , both during the Galactic Civil War and the First Order-Resistance War, had sons who were named after him. Many of them had fought in the Resistance. At first, everything went was going well. Sadly, ten years after the war, it was about to change completely. At the age of eighty seven, in the year two thousand and eighty three, Jay was moving slowly after five years of travel to help Rey rebuild the order and training Younglings and Padawans.

One day, while walking around the Jedi Temple, Jay fainted and took a spill. He was soon taken to a Med Bay and treated for the spill. Once Mollbry was informed, She went to see Jay and stayed by his side. Jay was laying calmly in his bed, lapsing from occasional consciousness to periods of stupor. From the beginning, he was growing more and more conscious and hope his strength holds out to recover. While in bed, Jay reflect on everything he has done in his life; remembering his troops of the 76th Legion, 1st Pennsylvania Militia & the Lost Regiment and the missions he was one with them. Just like those days when he was recovering after his duel with Phantom on Dromund Kass, Mollbry helped nursed Jay with growing hope as his stamina seemed to increased. But then, on September 17th, Inflammation and fever came upon him suddenly. Mollbry record what happened next.

"Jay suffered so much, so much for an hour or two and was delirious. Alex monitored her brother close, sensing his pulse failing as his consciousness returned. Keeve was by his left, holding his hand tightly. I know his moments on Earth were few. My darling husband took my hand and placed it long and fondly to his heart. I saw he was aware of my presence to the very last. He knew he was going and wasn't afraid. He pressed my head to his chest long and fondly. Then, he waved me off by saying 'We will me again, mon amour.' Mon amour was the last words he spoke on those loved lips. Then, his body began to disappear; becoming one with the Force. The only thing that was left of him were his robes and his cybernetic arm.". - Mollbry Lyon September 17th, 2083.

Word of Jay's death spread like wildfire. A memorial service was held in Jay's honor, paying homage to the man who help stood up against Sidious and his others, fought in four wars, lead troops in battle, found love, started a family and made many friends & enemies along the way. The service was attended by friends and family, many of them were follow council members, aging veterans of the 76th, the 1st and the Lost Regiment, Shinobi, Soul Reapers, veterans of various organizations & students who learned under him. It was reported that the veterans of the 1st Pennsylvania sang "The Minstrel Boy.", which was their troop song. Many of the mourners didn't leave a dry eye during the service. Five years later, two statues were made to pay homage to the 1st Pennsylvania and the 76th Legion for all the deeds they have done to America, the Republic, the Rebellion, the New Republic & the Resistance. A year later, Mollbry joined Jay in the Neitherworld of the Force. Alex would follow her in two thousand and eighty eight.  Sakura Lyon and Keeve a year later. Surviving them were their kids, their grandkids and their great grandkids, to whom they helped dealing with any problems the Galactic Alliance faced down the road and fighting the Fel Empire in the Second Galactic Civil War. Shizuka, three years after her uncle's death, found his journal and his letters and had them published until the title "The Jedi's Story"; a work that ensures the life and legacy of Jedi Master/General Jay Lyon, a hero of the Clone War, Fourth Great Ninja War, First Galactic Civil War & the First Order-Resistance War will live on for ever.

When Jay died, he fought himself in a the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. To his surprise, he was young again and was wearing robes who wore during the Clone War and with a normal right arm. As he was about to look around the temple, he was greeted by an old friends. His mentor in life, a clone of Unohana, two of his best friends and the Jedi who taught him how to preserve his life force after death. "Master Qui Gon.". Jay said, seeing his spiritual master. Windu, Yachi, Jeffian, Jar and Qui Gon turned to see Jay. Obi Wan's master smiled at him and said "Well, took you long enough." "I thought you moved on." Jay said, smiling back at his mentor. "I'm always here for you, Jay." he replied. "Even in your time of need." He smiled at the remark before look to see his master and his friends again. At last, Qui Gon spoke to Jay by saying "We have much to do." And with that, accompanied by his friends and mentor, he left with Qui Gon to learn more from Qui Gon and to be a guiding light for his family and to future generations of Jedi.

Now, you know the story of Jay Lyon. He was an average Jedi, taunted under Jedi Master Mace Windu, who lived in a time of war and peace. A man who fought in, and survived, four different wars alongside, Ninja, Soul Reapers, Clone Troopers, Soldiers from different wars, Battle Droids (Reprogramed and Republic Droids that is) and beings from across the galaxy. In his life, he found his family, fell in love, started a family, fought against evil, corruption and tyranny. He fought the Dark Lord of the Sith, fought alongside Luke Skywalker during the war and fought alongside the best Clone Units during the Clone War. If someone tells you about Jay, they would tell you about the Mission to Boz Pity, working alongside Ninjas & Soul Reapers, taken on two students, the Battle of The Hidden Leaf, the Second Battle of Muunilinst, fighting Darths Phantom, Vader, Sidious & Fury, helping taking down the Empire, The First Order & the Final Order and his time commanding the Lost Regiment, the 76th Legion and the 1st Pennsylvania Militia. To this day, his story is being told and his legacy is being carried on. To quote the words of Jedi Master Yoda "Live for the living Jedi, we must. Live through us, forever they will.".
