I wake up hearing muttering around me. What is it now? I've had a long couple of days can I just sleep please?
"Why didn't you wake her?"
Why do I recognise that voice?
"I couldn't. She just looked so peaceful, the most peaceful I've seen her since she hasn't had the best start here."
"Isn't that partly your fault? You've had it out for this girl since before she got here."
"It's the damn file Tae. I thought I was ready to meet her, but I'm terrified. I don't want to mess it up, but every time she's near me I freak out and push her away."
Tae? Do I know a Tae? Something feels weird.
"You've waited for this for years are you seriously going to let fear get in the way?"
"I don't want to but my emotions have been so heightened since she arrived, it's like I can literally feel our connection now."
"You need to get a grip. She's here, isn't that what you always wanted?"
"Of course, but what if she doesn't?"
"You won't find out if you hide behind this stupid smug persona. She's an elemental, her emotions control everything about her, get on the side of the positive ones."
"Speaking of...I think I actually made a little progress last night."

I hear what sounds like a slap with the other voice groaning in response.
"She watched me undress last night. When I realised, I looked outside and she'd literally grown a tree in the space of two minutes. It's her power, earth, it must be controlled by happiness or maybe even love."
"Don't take advantage of her strong emotions Kook, it's not fair. She can't control them yet."
Kook? Jungkook? Oh my god that wasn't a dream. My eyes open and I look to the door to see the boys I had hoped were part of an elaborate dream world my mind made up last night. Unfortunately not.
"Hey Grey." Taehyung says walking towards me.
I guess Tae must've been Taehyung. Explains why he sounded so familiar. I sit up in the bed brushing my hair back with my hands. I'm sure I look like a mess.
