Finally. I said it. I find myself smiling like an idiot when I see his eyes light up at my words. He gently pecks my lips and shuffles in closer to me.
"I can't believe I finally get to just lie here with you. You're here...with me. Just like we're supposed to be."
"What else does the prophecy say?" I ask quietly, curious as to any other fated events I should know of.
"It's not specific and honestly it's quite taboo. I only know about it because your file had it written at the very front page and so did mine."
"Good. I don't want to know about our future. I just want to live in the present for once."
He smiles lifting a hand to rest on my cheek as he runs his thumb across it. I catch him taking in every little detail of my face as he looks at my face. I've never seen him so happy. It's refreshing.
"Grey?"
As I stare at the boy in front of me, I get lost in his beautifully vast eyes, the stars within them spanning for miles.
"Grey?"
The longer I look at him, the more I realise that these feelings I have are much more than just liking the way he makes me feel. I think I might be in love.
"Baby?"
Hmm...what? Baby?
I snap out of my daze and blink as Jungkook panics, nervously stumbling over his words, "I...I'm sorry...it was an in the moment thing. I...I've just wanted...I've wanted to call you that for a long time." He mumbles so quietly I barely pick up what he said.
I chuckle lightly, "It's okay Kook."
"To be fair...you weren't responding until that name, so I'd say it's a good fit."
"I'd agree."
"Oh you would?" He teases.
"Hmm I think it suits me don't you?"
"I think it's perfect." He mumbles against my lips, moving his slowly with mine.
A knock sounds from my door interrupting the moment, "Grey? You awake?"
"It's Jin!" I whisper panic overtaking me as I sit up.
"Grey, you don't have to-" he begins before I place a finger on his lips shushing him.
He creases his eyebrows at me in a playful manner and I remove my finger paying attention to Jin. "Yes be out in a sec!" I call back.
"We're all gonna head out for breakfast if you wanna come?"
"Sure!"
I look back to check on an awfully silent Jungkook only to find him giving me an evil smile as Jin continues to talk. He sits up leaning into me and lifts my chin with his fingers, his warm breath now fanning my neck. Hmm that feels nice.
