Karma - Summer Walker
You sit and think about the situation while finishing your blunt in front of the floor to ceiling window. You place the key under the doormat where the realtor told you. Then took the elevator down to the lobby and continued to walk back to your car. During the drive home you didn't even bother putting on music, all you could think about was Toji and the life you two could've had together if it wasn't for Gojo. You began to think about how you missed your best friend and wanted nothing more than for him to return your calls. You stopped at the red light staring blankly as the other cars passed, wishing you had someone to talk to. You are brought back to focus from the car behind honking their horn, you don't bother to react and drive the rest of the way home.
As you unlock the door to the shared apartment you see Geto in the kitchen getting a snack. His hair is tied back in a bun while he is wearing black sweats with a white beater, allowing his ink to show. You check your phone for the time. "Its a little late no?" You drop your keys on the stand next to the door and walk into the kitchen. The only light on downstairs happens to be the dim lighting above the stove. You slide past Geto and a grab water before sitting on the counter. "What are you eating?" You stay staring at him while taking a sip. "Grapes." He says while shoving them in his mouth. "Want sum?" He hands one to you. You stare blanky at the grape. "How do I know you didn't lick the grape or some shit?" You say while hesitating to take it from his hand. "Y/n." He says staring at you knowing damn well he didn't do anything to the grape. "Listen, I'm sorry for how I was acting earlier, I guess I just couldn't imagine how we wouldn't be able to hang out as much. I mean with you getting a job and moving out on top of that." He says, finishing his snack. "We will always be able to hang out Geto." You say reassuring him. "I just feel like we would grow distant, not on purpose of course." You nod in response. "Y/n just know I will always be here for you, if you need anything." Geto says, and a hug from him follows after. You smile and walk back upstairs. You give each other a quick glance of reassurance once you reach the top, before going to your rooms.
