"Oh my gosh!" Maria looks over at Devi, seeing a horrified look on her face. She then looks in the direction that she's staring and notices that devi's car had been vandalized. The words on the car wrote 'stupid bitch' with messy deformed t's. She walked up to Devi, just as stunned as she was.
"Wow... Who'd you hurt this time?" She crosses her arms as she waits for the girl to reply.
"Uhm, I may have written a rant about this girl that was talking to Ben but uh other than that I don't know" Devi shrugs and looks down in embarrassment. Maria sighs hearing her best friends reply.
"They were just talking, nothing specia-"
"They're dating Maria. You know how good of a liar Ben is"
"The girl could have been lying, who is she anyway?" Devi kissed her teeth before answering. She knew that Maria really really hated her.
"It may or may not be Margot Ramos" Maria harshly exhales. Margot and Maria had been past lovers, however when Maria left her for Paxton she had threatened to tell Maria's mother that she was bi.
"That bitch" she muttered under her breath. Devi hummed in agreement.
"I know right?she's probably still mad at you" Maria scoffed at her words.
"At least I didn't let her find out I was talking shit about her, you need to do a better job at that... And maybe not write it down" Maria crosses her arms, Devi just huffed.
"My mom is gonna be so mad, let's just go" the girls entered the car, Maria seated in the passengers seat.. To lighten the mood, also feeling bad for lashing out at Devi, she decided to play some music. The two girls sung along to California girls and some other songs before she parks on the driveway of her house. The girls get out as they watch devi's mom and grandmother exit the house. Her mom stopped in her tracks and stared at the car.
"Devi, I am going to give you a minute to explain this to me before I kick your ass" her mother crosses her arms in dissaproval. Devi decided to speak up before she got beat in front of her friend as if it hadn't happened before.
"I don't know, I just walked out after school to find my car like this" Maria nodded frantically. She was obviously scared of devi's mom.
"You've had it for two days and it comes back like this? Come on Devi"
"It was a hate crime!" Devi exclaimed, obviously trying to defend herself.
"So were you being a stupid bitch?" She questioned.
"Mom! No I wasn't!" Devi walked inside with Maria. They took their shoes off and Devi dragged Maria up to her room. Maria flopped on to her soft bed and sighed.
"So, we don't actually know that she's the culprit. Let's be reasonable, Margot's all talk. She never told my mom that I was bi thankfully" Devi nods upon hearing this.
"True... I just don't know who else it could be" Devi falls onto the bed next to Maria. Maria then gets an idea and sits up.
"Oh my gosh, you know those senior boys? They could've done it. It's not unreasonable either because they are known to be the troublemakers of the school"devi's eyes slightly widen, also sitting upright.
"That is so true! Why am I so stupid sometimes" she slaps her forehead. Maria places a hand on her shoulder to comfort her.
"That's why I'm here, to help you not jump to conclusions because you can make some pretty fucked up mistakes when you jump to conclusions" Maria pats her shoulder. Devi scoffs and pushes her hand off her shoulder smirking.
"Yeah I know I know" she rolls her eyes. Maria smiles and hugs her. They continue to talk until Devi brings up the topic of ethan.
"He's such a douche, I saw him dying the pool red the other day" Maria takes a sip of her drink.
"I think you'd look better with him" Devi wiggles her eyebrows and Maria chokes slightly on her drink.
"Ew no he's Eleanor's problem not mine" she pretends to gag and Devi just shrugs.
"Say whatever you want but I just see it. I am all knowing afterwards" Devi puts her arms to the side and shrugs with a smug smile plastered on her face. Maria sighs and sits in front of her so their eyes met.
"Say whatever you want Devi but not around Eleanor. I don't want her dramatic ass not talking to me over a guy" Devi nods and reassures her.

Maria left devi's home at around seven. She only lived down the street anyway so it wasn't a long walk. She got home and want to her room, collecting some clothes in her hand and walks to the bathroom. After her shower she goes to her room and lay down on her bed. She decides to reach her favorite book before bed.
Just as she opens the book a light tap sounded on her window. She got up and opened the window seeing who was there. And who had the guts to climb onto the second floor just to reach her window. The person climbed in soon revealing a brown curly haired boy. She stood up and looked at her, his golden brown eyes gazed into hers.
"Ethan?" He walks up to her, gently grabbing her waist. He looks her up and down before whispering.
"I need you" she blushes profusely as he massages her waist.
"Ethan-" she was cut short of her sentence when she was shushed and slowly lowered to her bed. Ethan takes his shirt off revealing numerous tattoos. He leans down and peppers kisses on her neck.
"Such a bad girl, willing to get with her best friends crush" he leans down to kiss her again but Maria's eyes widen as she sits up in devi's bed. Her eyebrows furrow and she looks around. Devi groans and stirrs awake. She also sits up and rubs her eyes.
"Why am I here? I thought I went home" she looked over to a half asleep Devi.
"It's six in the morning go back to sleep" Maria hits her with a pillow.
"Does my mom know I stayed the night?" Devi nods groggily.
"My mom called yours last night, you're all good" Maria sighed in relief, still feeling a bit flustered about her dream. She knew who she'd be avoiding at school.
